Things that makes no sense in Boruto series.

Point 2. Geniuses weren't whipping out 3 elemental natures without training from their rear end. They weren't being lazy, taking it easy, getting everything under the sun handed to them. Pulling of things that shouldn't be possible all for the sake of plot. What's worse is they're trying to add everything under the sun to Boruto it kind of reminds me of Bleach. They're taking from him what he should be somebody who uses GF maybe combined with ninjutsu and instead turning him into an Uchiha D Rider wannabe. If he wanted to be like Sasuke he should've been him in philosophy and kept true to his roots.

As for the Sharingan it was overdone early manga Kishi toned it down as time progressed. Totsuka and Yata are spirit weapons they're not really relevant, Izanami was poor writing on Kishi's part he didn't even need to go down that route.

But you're right, they're overdoing the prodigy thing but I think it's balanced to some extent. He doesn't have high level techniques with either of the chakra natures so he's basically just versatile now with no real power moves in his arsenal and I think that's pretty much okay

I agree about his interest in Sasuke being unnatural as well and I would like to see him go down his own road rather than try to become Sasuke V2. But right now I think he's basically just an ambitious kid who sees Sasuke as a figure he wants to idolize. Hopefully as he grows he carves his own path and becomes a figure distinguishable from Sasuke

Nah they're overdoing it quite a bit, learning a change in nature is a big thing and is meant to be difficult. Jonin level ninja usually have two changes in the nature showing the level of difficulty involved. They also train to get there and take time developing the jutsu etc.

Then you have Boruto pulling everything out of thin air, gale palm and vanishing rasengan (asspull 2.0). Can stream lightning, use thunderclap arrow and has a databook entry for Purple lightning, I think he no longer has PL since Mitsuki's officially got it. Boruto was training rasengan learnt vanishing rasengan by fluke, he doesn't even know the difference yet somehow pulls out a regular rasengan. Learns SCJ himself and thaijutsu use for them and strategic use for them out of nowhere. Has book smarts and problem solving abilities without studying out of thin air. The problem is even prodigies study, train and all sort and develop things although they come easier to them. That's Boruto for you without me even going in to the other powers ups that he has in store.

I would call that bad writing on another level, it makes no sense whatsoever and ignores consistency.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the Sasuke thing as being unnatural. You know my thoughts on the issue Boruto should've been his own character keeping with his family connections but interested by Sasuke's ideology. Instead he thinks Sasuke's cool and wants to become cool like him V2. Sarada should've been the Uchiha keeping the Uchiha style and wanting to become Hokage. And Mitsuki I haven't a clue on what he wants to do except service Boruto.

Naruto had a powerful back story plot to his power it never happened that naruto learned any jutsu without screen time until war arc.You're not fully wrong but this thread is true you cannot deny it at least for now

To address point 1, Minato's parents were nobodies as far as we know, that didn't stop him from being a prodigy, the kind that's said to appear only once in a generation by Jiraiya so this point doesn't really mean anything, and point 3 is just your personal expectations for Konohamaru's character. Where in the manga did the writer say Konohamaru was created to be a Kakashi for them? Different characters can have the same positions within the manga but still fill different roles. Even Kakashi had to get rescued in their first ever mission by Naruto of all people and he was supposed to be a legendary shinobi, 'Copy Ninja Kakashi'. I can agree to point 2 to some extent but a lot of Shippuden came out of nowhere as well, especially concerning the Sharingan. Stuff like the Yata and Totsuka just popped in when the plot required them, same thing with Izanami

Wtf Sharingan power ups had a explanation like nothing in the series the whole series is about Uchihas.

Who was relevant in part 1 other than Naruto and Sasuke?

This is Boruto part 1. Not only that, they haven’t fully set up kara. You guys are asking for a lot from a monthly series that haven’t even set up the overarching plot line.

Something the anime is doing now with the otsuki/dojutsu and Kara with the manga.

Sarada, Mitsuki and Boruto all have their own personal goals and motivations.

Be patient, it’s like literally their first real mission.



That’s like crying that it’s all about Naruto in the Land of waves arc.


If you guys weren’t so far up Sarada’s ass and the manga wasn’t monthly then it wouldn’t seem so long.

No one is used to not seeing Sasuke doing something or Naruto fighting akatsuki. Probably because most watched the cartoon or read the manga when it was already a bit past the CE arc.




Op believes foolish things like Boruto being overpowered and Konohamaru being a Kakashi to them. His complaints are shallow and pandering to his impatience with the series.



Pretty sure if you guys saw Naruto or Sasuke doing something every chapter. You wouldn’t even care.
