These new episodes are not fillers!

They're not made up story. Everything in that episode serves as a backstory or flashback which was not portrayed in the manga. Kishimoto can't cover every character in the manga because it would take too much time. These filler episodes are based on actual events that happened in the manga. Danzo stealing shisui's eyes is not made up.

Just because Danzo stealing shisui's wasn't drawn in the manga, doesn't mean it can't be animated. If you have the story untouched, then the animation is canon

dude your even calling it filler. Just because the manga doesnt touch on something doesnt mean it makes what ever the anime says canon. We know that naruto and sasuke always went on missions but does that mean they really fought talking cats? No. Kishi didnt write it in his story and he isnt directing the animation so its the animator's interpation of what happened. If i was the animator and i animated that hashirama met his wife at a strip joint does it make it canon because i animated it in the anime? i mean by your logic since we never saw how they met it was the strip joint then

yea it is there first mission together as team 7 was catching a cat and ic how you ignored my last point so i guess hashirama met his wife at a strip club since they met in the manga but we dont know how :/

I consider them filler, but in the sense that they're filling in bits and pieces of things we haven't seen or only had some idea of. They're not like useless filler used to only kill time.

Side note, I love these filler. I wish all filler was like this.
