We already know that Frieza's species is a lot more resilient than the Saiyans. They're able to tank planet's destruction with no Ki. Frieza received a huge Zenkai boost after he was revived. It isn't actually surprising that Frieza training for 4 months made him stronger than SSGSS Goku. they're vastly superior to Saiyans, They way they train is effective and efficient.

SS4 Gogeta is not of god tier. He's just off the charts strong. God tier is not on the same lvl of comparison than just a strong being.

SS3 Goku is canon and ridiculously strong, but was shown out in kami to kami against a god who touch the guy twice and ended the fight (Or should i say that Goku was just flailing angrily) with no effort.
