To be honest the Uchiha clan brought it upon themselves. I mean willing to risk a civil war as well as possibly a Shinobi world war. It couldnt also have been avoided, it seemed the Uchiha were determined to start a revolution.

He needs to AT LEAST kill the elders. And if i were him, I would still be pissed at the leaf but wouldn't kill them because then i would be killing unknowing children, thus being as bad as they were. Plus, this flashback didn't change that much, in fact, it showed how much itachi suffered even more.

They didn't bring it upon themselves. They were supposed to be EQUAL partners with Senju and they were basically told off and oppressed. The elder women was like "They want more influence" or something, proving that they clearly didn't want uchiha to have political power.

Innocence people that had nothing to do with it. Most people looked at the Uchiha with such expectations. Except, Itachi who was a traitor, but he was still feared by most.

Tobi is already messing up the Uchiha name, if anything, I would try to clean up their name.

Sasuke is still my favorite character after Itachi and Naruto.
