Even if it was , I don't see how you can say that they are not byakugans.

The manga shows a vague face , his eyes are drawn exactly like byakugans would be , I agree that it's vague , just do not deny that possibility.

If we go by the official Viz Scan then you my friend are hoping for to much out of that page. fan fic like hope. I won't deny it but at the same time you need to be realistic to since it's most likely only white eyes made of Chakra like the rest of that body is due to it being molded inside the PS so everything that body of light is would be only due to molding to the shape its being sent to and nothing else.

Byakugans are very pale , and from how far we see them , the light of the body should hide the color of the eyes.
Do you know what byakugans means? It means :"all seing white eyes".

It wasn't really a theory , just an observation , the eyes look a bit like byakugans , they could be byakugans , or not , yihaaaa.

I heard that Kishimoto doesn't like where the story drives him.
He didn't like the fact that he focused on sharingans , he says he wanted to expand more over byakugans.

Byakugans are really mysterious , Hyuga jutsus are associated with the Yin/Yang symbol , Sasuke's Yin avatar of darkness called Susanoo just got a Yang power up with the beasts Yin/Yang chakra.
If light mode=Yang mode as Yang is associated to right , full moon , light , life , Sasuke has a Yin/yang mode.
If this mode has byakugans , that would probably mean that byakugans are Yin/Yang eyes , and that would be a new fact that brings other interesting questions.

But if you alude to the logic that Hashirama is stronger than Madara, you're falling in the sequndum quid and argumentum ad ignorantiam fallacies. You can't infere all the cases being Ashura > Indra...

Naruto has lost in battle against Sasuke thrice already! The motive of why Ashura won in the past was because the Sage gave his legacy to Ashura, not because Ashura were stronger by himself.

1: Sasuke is not trying to kill naruto, he is going at him with attacks that require naruto to be very defensive, and sasuke has constantly told naruto to get serious before he does kill him.

2: I follow it, far more then you evidently, because Sasuke has been limiting his attacks to naruto bit by bit upping the anti to try and get naruto to try and kill him. Eventually, Sasuke was forced to use the bijuus as his pets to get naruto to get completely serious. Sorry, but those are not the actions of someone who is supposedly inferior, those are the actions of someone who is currently more powerful and in control of the situation.

3: All they have been doing is fighting and talking, the both have had plenty of time to do their thing. Naruto never won against Sasuke, so do we need to go this far back for you to understand? They both took energy or chakra to power-up.
