Well, Derp and I sometimes think alike. I once made a post comparing the image of the SO6P above Naruto to Nagato's chakra image through rods. He later made a theory that was almost identical to my post. That was hilarious.=D

How can some people say that it is unfair for Naruto to get Mokuton? Have you seen all the things that Sasuke has?
Even yesterday he used a new Fire element technique called God of Flames, we don't see him practise these techniques but everytime he comes to a battle he has new tecniques (against Oro he could extent his Chidori in a spear; against Itachi he had new fire styles and Kirin; against Bee he could remove Amateratsu with some sort of Obito technique; against Danzo his Susanoo went crazy and he had new summoning)

For Naruto, he only has Rasengan and Rasenshuriken (which is just simple Rasengan mixed with his Nature element affinity, no other technique added)... He hasn't even developed his Wind technique like that of Danzo (spitting out wind, adding wind to a Kunai, making shapes like wind sword etc)

This are my reasons why I said Naruto might get the Mokuton through Kurama:::

We all know that SO6P shared the "power and abilities" of the Juubi into 9 tailed beasts; each and everyone of the tailed beasts have their unique abilities and they all have their natural affinities.. for example 1 tail - shukaku (Earth release: sand and wind release); 2 tails - Matatabi (fire release); 3 tails - Isobu (Water release); as the number of tails go higher, they tend to possess unique abilities like 4 tails - Son Goku (Lava, Earth, and Fire release), 6 tails - Saiken (water and acid release); 8 tails - Gyuki (wind, Water, and Ink release) etc...
I bet you understand me now, but we are yet to find out what 9 tails - Kurama can really do (however we have seen that he has Juubi's speed too and his chakra react well to wood technique:

The answer is that he gave it to Kurama that's why he is regarded as the strongest of 9 of them and the closest to the 10 tails, that was why Naruto had the 6 tomes on his neck like the SO6P. Hence I think he will get the Mokuton like Juubi

The main reason why Mokuton work perfectly on Tailed beasts is because their life force and chakra are more leaning towards Nature chakra than Yin Yang. So when wood it around then, it is stronger because it seeks strength thoung their chakra

for me.. its near impossible for naruto to obtain mokuton... just a plain simple reason,dont have to think hard about it... affinity

mokuton is a combi of earth and water..since naruto have main affinity of wind...well its somewhat impossible now.. sorry to disappoint..

I liked ur theory & I agree that Naruto's chakra effecting the wood style wil have a big impact on this war,,,,but I have some doubts,
There is no way for Naruto to get wood style since his his affinity should be both Earth&Water to use Woodstyle(I want him to have woodstyle & may be there is a possibility)
I think Naruto is the only one that can effect the Wood style,,
as u said if Originat's from Juubi then it should be effected by other Bijju too...
we can't say that it originat's from juubi just because it has only one user crystal element user is also unique just like Hashirama,,,
I strongly belive that Uchiha are the decendent's of Juubi,,thire occular power's originate's from Juubi(look at Juubi's eye)
May be Sage is a pure Senju(in terms of Power) & he got rinnegan after he became the jin of Juubi (Senju+Uchiha)
After that he gave birth to his two son's by mrng a common women (one is with hi own pwr and will & the other is with juubi's power and will)
& they continued to fight with eachother just like Juubi and Sage

Mokuton DID NOT ORIGINATE from the Juubi.

Its a kekkie Genkai, from combining the water and earth elements together and using chakra as a life source. The juubi's vessel was used as a catalyst to harvest Hashirama's cells becuase it was a huge power source.

Mokuton and the Juubi are not connected.

I agree that Mokuton is the body (Yang) of the Juubi, much like the Sharingan is the Eye per se of the Juubi (Yin) but I don't think Naruto will acquire Mokuton since he is an Uzumaki, the Uzumakis do not have the Juubi's essence inside them like the Uchihas (Yin) and Senjus (Yang) who are the eye and body of the Juubi.
