Theory: Wood style originated from the 10 tails

Also, we've seen the 10 tails use wood style using wooden spikes. We've also seen it sprout a flower to make larger TBBs. On top of that, wood style is described as using chakra as a life force to grow plants.

Naruto's 9 tails chakra reacts with the wood, and was so great, that it made it grow even without touching. This, to a certain extent, is wood style. The 9 tails is a piece of the 10 tails as well. Isn't it interesting that Hashirama was the only one who had the wood style bloodline? I half wounder if he somehow obtained it.

This part won't be in the poll, however, I'd like to hear your opinions in the comments.

I think that Naruto might end up getting wood style considering how it seems to be related to tailed beasts. I also have a theory that the reason wood style's effective on them is because their a part of the 10 tails, and some sort of link is established when using wood style, a part of the 10 tails itself.

it seems to make sense. i think woodstyle works so well against tailed beasts because their chakra makes the wood stronger. senjus are descendents of the sage, they got the "body" of the sage, thats probably why hashirama can use wood style.

edit: i want naruto to get mokuton as well. if his dad gives him the rest of the kyubi or ftg, and he has the firsts tech.. op af

I agree with you. Even the juubi clones were like zetsu but only a little stronger (because of juubi's massive chakra) xd I wonder how hashirama became the only one to use it. Maybe it's a recessive gene and only he awakened it or something. Nice job

I too thought it another theory is juubi can also be connected by the user through hashirama's wood cells remember when madara and obito uses it to connect it to juubi. I agree with you!!!:-D

Yes, but that can't be related to wood style, since Hashirama was the only one with the sage's body to gain it.

and thats how Hashirama learned mokuton and how its related to the juubi.

That's a very good point, however, that's no the only thing that led me to my conclusion. The fact that he has some pedal hump on his back and sprouts flowers for it's attack without being connected to Obito tells me otherwise.

I though about this before! Naruto can make Mokuton grow so he might at some point be able to create mokuton.

I think Mokuton does come from the Juubi. Actually to be correct, all jutsu originated from The Sage of Six Paths, which is also the only jinchuriki of the 10 tails. Basically i think the sage is the "reincarnated" version of the 10 tails, or the 10 tails in human form. and he created all jutsu with the use of the 10 tails chakra and power, which includes wood jutsu, fire jutsu, water juts... etc. Very nice thread man.
