i think the drawing is meant to symbolize the jougan, not that boruto will have a chakra mode and byakugan
it symbolizes the jougan because the byakugans symbolize eyes being yang and the cloak symbolizes body being yin

Lmao cekibeing was stating what he thinks the Dojutsu can do, for example sensing negative emotions via eye and having the same abilities as the Byakugan. Also he said something about it being connected to Otsutsuki Dimensions.

But he was basing it on the idea that Boruto's Dojutsu reacted to the Nue's chakra, and at one point, could see through the beast. Not to mention Boruto's eye saw the 'earth' dimension when in the Nue's.

But it's not clarified on the origins of the eye, nor the actual powers. Not yet anyway.
