if you look at this page it symbolizes hagoromo's power
ashura and reincarnates-yang=body and indra and reincarnates-yin=eyes
if you look at the yin/yang symbol
hagoromo symbolizes the yang part.the white-yang symbolizing his body and the circle of black-yin symbolizing his eyes
the sharingan and it's variants=yin
the uchiha's sprout a special chakra in their brains that change their eyes
when sasuke was getting angrier his chakra was resembling genjutsu
karin didnt recognize sasuke's chakra anymore saying that it's not him
this was when naruto noticed indra's presence
adding ashura's chakra-body=yang to the sharingan makes rinnegan
kishi drew this for the boruto series a while back and it's similar to the one symbolizing hagomo
this time it's eyes=yang and body=yin
boruto is shown with a body power(kurama chakra) and eye power(byakugan)
on the yin/yang symbol boruto represents the yin side
the yin-black side being his body and the eyes being his yang-the white circle.byakugan means white eye
kurama is known as a mass of hatred-yin;making his body=yin
byakugan means white eye;making his eye's yang
i think the drawing is meant to symbolize the jougan, not that boruto will have a chakra mode and byakugan
it symbolizes the jougan because the byakugans symbolize eyes being yang and the cloak symbolizes body being yin
the jougan and the rinnegan parallel each other on the yin/yang spectrum
to make the sharingan/ems a rinnegan it needs yang chakra
to make byakugan a jougan it needs yin chakra
