Several things are often associated with the Uzumaki clan:
Kushina Uzumaki mentioned that she had a special type of chakra that made her good for being a jinchuriki. I think this special type of chakra she mentioned is the chakra chains she used to hold down the nine tails inside Naruto's mind. However, what if this special type of chakra, "special" enough to cause foreign nin to attempt kidnapping her, is a Kekkei Genkai trait?
Two kekkei genkai are known to have ancestral connection to Sage of Six Paths, the original jinchuriki: the Sharingan and Wood Element. Both of these kekkei genkai, in addition to granting other abilities, grant the ability to control and suppress tailed beasts. If the Uzumaki clan, who also have an ancestral relationship to the Sage of Six Paths, were to possess a kekkei genkai, it would be likely that it would pertain to tailed beasts just like the sharingan and wood element.
Mito Uzumaki was said to be able to sense negative emotions, like Naruto. I think her ability to conquer the nine tails to the point where she gained this ability stemmed from two things: one, Hashirama probably helped her fight the nine tails inside her mind with his Wood Release, which is good for subduing the nine tails. And two, this proposed kekkei genkai.
Like the Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan, this kekkei genkai manifests slightly differently in each wielder. In Kushina, it manifested as chakra chains. In Naruto, who inherited this ability from his mother's side, it manifests as the Torii seal.
If this kekkei genkai exists, it would somewhat explain how Naruto knew how to use the Torii seal on the nine tails despite not having any knowledge in fuuinjutsu. Just like wielders of the mangekyo sharingan don't need to be taught to use Amaterasu, Naruto didn't need to be taught the Torii seal; the time came to use it, and he activated this ability he was born with through instinct.
Using this kekkei genkai allows the user to create objects that hold down the nine tails inside their mind. It can be chains, toriis, what ever. But having this ability to restrict the nine tails instantly makes the Uzumakis incredibly skilled as jinchuriki. Note that Naruto is so adept in using the nine tails power that he surprised Bee with the speed he managed to learn to use chakra arms (stacking the tower of blocks with little difficulty), and was able to outrun the 4th raikage's attack that made him renowned as the world's fastest living ninja, Lightning Armour.
This trait would also explain why Naruto's chakra cloak appears different than Bee's, depsite going through the same process to conquer his biju as Bee did. The cloak manifests differently because Naruto uses a special kekkei genkai to control the nine tail's power.
