Hello guys, I would like to share with you my theory about the Kagyua's whereabouts after eating forbidden fruit. Here I go:
^^ "People used to call my mother the rabbit goddess or the demon... They worshiped and feared her."

^^ "My mother who used to be called The Rabbit Goddess Eventually started to be feared like a demon".
^^ "If single person has too much power... They will get obsessed with it and loose control."
^^ Kaguya had Nine tomoe Rinnegan/Orginal Rinnegan with two horns protruded at two sides of head, just like Juubi.
^^ Here Kaguya speak to Madara: "Absorb Me"
^^ Here Kaguya speak once again showing that Kaguya is somehow part of God Tree. In special case it is Kaguya's personality along with spirit which is trapped inside God Tree
^^ Kaguya's face is shown when it flashes or iluminated in light.
^^ "Shinigami/reaper death/Dead demon who looks alike Kaguya. Sticking Horns, markings on face... there is only lack of third eye but it could be explained."
but it could be also Hagoromo's brother spirit cursed...
In Short: Some time after Kaguya ate forbidden fruit she get corrupted with forbidden power which made her gone mad and crazy so she lost control over her body which transformed into monster/terryfing shape. God Tree trapped Kaguya's soul along with her personality inside it, Kaguya's soul/spirit was used as Reaper Death/Dead Demon to get chakra back through dead people. In this way Kaguya had to repay for her sins while at the same time God Tree used her as mean to get back what was rightfully it's.

- lost Kaguya's mind = Trapped in God Tree
- enslaved Kaguya's spirit/soul = Shinigami/Reaper Death/Dead Demon
