Well Kishi could just simplify it like this:

Once upon a time there lived people who were at war, they didn't know ninjutsu back then, then one day, a boy from the Uzumaki Family: Riku discovered Ninjutsu by himself, he was so happy he taught it to his family and friends, one day the nasty Juubi went on a rampage, Riku defeated the big bad monster by sealing it within himself with sealing ninjutsu, everyone was safe and Riku became a hero, shortly afterwards Riku fell in love, before settling with his family, he left his Uzumaki relatives his sealing jutsus as a gift, so Riku got married to girl and had two sons, two sons had half of each of Riku's powers, when Riku was nearly dying he chose younger baby son as his successor which angered older son, the big bad juubi inside Riku manifested in elder son coz he hated his brother so much for being chosen instead of him, eye of big bad juubi appears then in elder son's eyes, from the uzumaki spiral into the sharingan, riku died, but big bad bro did not accept lil bro's appointment, so they fought happily ever after.

Yeah I had a long discussion with a member UWannaDie months back about that. I brought up a pic of Naruto in BM and the symbol on his guts is the same as the sages son's eyes...but my presentation fell flat lol. Nice presentation

I think we all know Kishi doesn't make things that similar for no reason, I believe the next Arc may explain a lot of this

That's interesting " The Uzumaki Family is the parental ancestral family of Rikudou Sennin and is the original bloodline of Rikudou Sennin that split with the schism of The Uchiha and Senju Ancestors" I also think Rikudō Sennin has some type of relation with the uzumaki clan. But, I'm not to sure if Rikudō Sennin original blood line is uzumaki though. Remember Rikudō Sennin kekkei genkai is both senju and uchiha, which why Rikudō Sennin was able to awaken Rinnegan in the first place. The uzumaki specialize in sealing jutsu, like you said Rikudō Sennin taught the uzumaki clan the sealing jutsu that pass down generation to generation.

Good work on the theory and for the most part I agree looking at this from a logical stand point, idk if Kishi is going to go deep into this though. Shoot, look what happen to the Obito flash back the problems it has.

Nice theory, so you believe the Sage used some type of Uzumaki sealing Technique which corrupted the eyes of his son which later manifested because of the sons hatred?

The Sealing Jutsu Rikudou used was indeed Uzumaki's accdg. to my hypothesis, that Sealing Jutsu manifested in the eyes of the Elder son, the corruption of the eyes' itself was a result of the Juubi that mutated it into the Sharingan.
