The Uchiha planned to take over the leaf thats y they got killed off not cause the Senju were afraid of them. I see where u are coming from but gotta go with the facts that we have seen from the manga. I mean sure with the 1st and 2nd gone u could say the Senju feared the Uchiha but we dont know that. Good theory but i gotta go with facts man.

There is no way to judge the abilities of the rest of the Uchiha and the rest of the Senju. We only know that BOTH clans were feared AND powerful.

It was said that only the uchiha clan were fear.Uchiha madara and his clan dominate most of the clan in the ninja world.The senju clan had alot of member but do u realise that after the war only hashirama and tobirama were the only one around for the senju went konoha form?
Why hashirama did not mate amongst a senju descendent?Hashirama have to look for an outside companion to mate .Tsuanade is an descendant of senju and the uzamaki clan.There is no other senju mention that is currently alive.

I honestly believed that Madara threw away the fight for his plan and that they were equal until this page of the recent chapter.

Though Madara may have had secret plans in the fight it still doesn't change the fact that by a tiny margin Hashirama was stronger then Madara. But Uchiha and Senju has a whole are equal.

the senju number were small just like the sarutobi clan.Hashirama made the clan look strong because of his unique wood release .Tobirama had alot of good jutsu like edo tensi and water release.Other than that the senju was not important.
The uchiha clan had dominated most alliacne which made up konoha currently.Most clan fear the uchiha so the elder and the senju wanted them eliminated.The senju cannot take down the powerhouse of konoha (the uchiha) that why they use inside force (itachi throught the anbu ) to take them down rather than taking them down by themselve.

At the end of the day
The uchiha were greater than the senju

Every one in uchiha clan is not strong either and there is no proof abt their strength in number both senju and uchiha consider as strongest clans

We also saw how madara fire jutsu was strong,it burn alway the wood easily in the current manga.Madara susano can use jutsu ,legs and also 4 hands.Those are only a fraction of his power.Madara maybe learn alot of jutsu because he war alot and also train with his brother which he can copy techniques

Could be but imo there is more evidence for Hashirama of being just slightly stronger then Madara + Kishi could have been speaking through Kabuto if u will.

We need more information on the fight to truly decide if Hashirama > Madara.
