Yes i highly expect that, madara must have survived somehow but still he lost to Hashirama and thats no doubt about it.

Yes, none the less Hashirama was fooled by Genjutsu to think he killed Madara that I am certain of.

Well the evidence does support the theory, but remember that Madara was also injured severely and implanted the cells of Hashi into the wound in the same spot where Hashi stabbed Madara (hint why his face is located in that spot.
Now he probably used his ability to obtain the cells from Hashi to implant into the would and make it look as though he did die.

Yes, the Genjutsu or technique Madara used was only a means of escaping certain death, not escaping the injuries he attained from Hashirama.

But why would he be looking upward unless he noticed someone/something, and I doubt another person is in the vicinity, I suspect it's the Moon which played a role in the Genjutsu so in conjunction with the diamond sparkle, it indicates the Genjutsu had probably ended

Madara survived because he stole some of 1st hokage cells. Yall remember when he was hooked up to thatmokuton thingy. N he stated why he survived- because of the cells he took during the battle. But im not saying your theory is wrong sounds quite possible, im just telling yall how madara survived

from what we've seen of the final battle, it's hard to tell/see when and how madara obtained hashirama's DNA, perhaps the sword hashirama stabbed madara with had hashirama's blood on it.

Some hypothesize that Madara took the Mokuton clone after the fight, harvesting Hashirama's DNA from it
