Theory: Senju + Uchiha = Rinnegan

The Rikudou Sennin devided his power to his two sons. The older brother has got the Sennin's eyes (Sharingan) and the younger the Sennin's body.

I don't think the Rinnegan is 'just' an upgrade of the MK. Its the combination of the body en the eyes, what can awaken the Rinnegan.

You need a lot of energy to control the sharingan properly, and even a lot more energy to controll the Mangekyo Sharingan. Therefore, Kakashi (low stamina) can’t use MS very well.
It would be possible, that the Rinnegan needs THAT much energy, that an Uchiha can’t even awaken it.

But what if you have a Senju body(or even Uzumaki; related to the Senju) AND the Uchiha eyes?


A senju(or Uzumaki) with implanted Uchiha eyes gets Rinnegan
Example: Nagato

- Maybe Tobi gave Nagato a Sharingan because he’s got the sage’s body, and therefore would get the Rinnegan(right away). Right now, Tobi got the rinnegan back, and uses it himself.

An Uchiha with implanted Senju DNA gets Rinnegan.
Example: Tobi and Madara

- After Madara fought with Hashirama, he got two things.
1. Hashirama’s DNA
2. The Rinnegan

He only fought to obtain the DNA. After he had the DNA, he also had the Rinnegan.

Many uchihas have implanted senju dna before.. thus the juts izanagi was forbidden... even itachi and shishui knew about implanting senju dna would decrease his ms's 10 year cool down..

The correct theory would be

Uchiha with EMS + senju dna = rinnegan ....

But imo I disagree due to reasons ive stated in many threads before.. really don't feel like repeating it T.T

If you read the manga carefully, and looked at kabuto's and madaras convo..You'd see kabuto tell madara

That they(Him and oro) created a hypothesis that sharingan evolves into rinnegan...

IF that was true... and Kabuto's hypothesis was that EMS + Senju dna = rinnegan

Then Madara would have known that kabuto knew it also...

Later onwards.. they discuss hashirama, and kabuto states.. "You gained a portion of hashiramas strength right?"

Madara THEN checks his shirt for hashiramas face , aka hashiramas dna..

If Rinnegan DID need the dna... and their prior convo, kabuto had already confirmed his hypothesis correct ,

Then why did madara CHECK his shirt.. ??

It's like two entirely separate events are taking place here.. which is why it was talked about in another chapter....

So let me break down what i believe it means..


The first chapter where madara summoned the meteor
1- Kabuto confirmed his and oro's hypothesis that Rinnegan is the natural evolution of sharingan

next chapter
2- Kabuto ASKS madara if he gained hashirama's strength

I agree with the part of EMS + senju dna. The oldest son did not inherit the rinnegan but rather a watered down version and IMO was because he didn't have the body of the sage.

my theory is he inherited something better, aka eyes tainted by the juubi...

when thats what the juubi had....
The sage had purple swirly eyes..

So yea he was the forfather of all mangekyou techs and not the sage...

You could be right but it doesn't seem right that the son would have eyes more powerful than the rinnegan. Hopefully kishi reveals more about this stuff.
