to get straight to my point.. i think it was just sasuke's genjutsu..
so my guess is that since all the other eyes on danzo's arm have been closed, sasuke is now able to perform a genjutsu on him..
its like how they say that when you are fighting a sharingan user, its better to have two people so that one person can snap the other out of a genjutsu.. my guess is that the extra eyes are acting as some sort of external resource to help danzo from countering any of sasuke's genjutsu... once all the other eyes were closed, sasuke managed to do itachi's favorite genjutsu.. cuz if there was one person (other than the third) who could rattle danzo's cage it was itachi.. its all mind games from here..
