Madara's appearance is an Edo Tensei.

But right before he entered the battlefield he released Edo Tensei.

he released his bond with the edo tensei user, but he is still an edo tensei with unlimited chakra. if he went back to his real body he would not have on that armor.

Ya the ones that come out every week on Jump is the real version in case you didn't know Naruto is created in Japan. Didn't I say its hard to completely translate what they're trying to say to make it perfectly understandable in english. "You've also improved"?? By the way, whether I'm way off on my theory which I probably am, it would be normal for Hashirama to refer to a clone considering the panel before Madara illiterates Hashirama's clone.
