Hwver I still find that this is a flashback, the liquid looks just like oil,and the current Naruto thinks about himself before, so there is a relation b2een the flashB thoughts and the shadow clone sage bla bla fighting technique

Still doesn't explain why he has no necklace.
He wears it ALL THE TIME, no matter what.
Why he would have no necklace in a flashback is puzzling, as he had it on when he was training with the oil.

well i think he is trying to get his water element down and he is trying to make a hurricane jutsu with his wind element and water combined after all it is called the hurricane chronicles

maybe its a techinique where you need kyubi chakra since narutos chakra alone is not enough but once he had mastered the sage mode he had alot more chakra and body enhanced

ya i think he's perfecting rasenshuriken, so he can use it without injury because natural energy energizes you rather than making you exhausted. remember rasenshuriken is the full version of rasengan. rasengan is a half-completed jutsu. so he probably wants to master it rather than use it once and call it quits.

i finally have to say this though, when jiraiya told naruto to not use "that jutsu", i'm pretty sure he was talking about the kyuubi power. because he said prior that his temper is his worst habit. the only "that jutsu" naruto can learn and probably will obtain is the jutsu that jiraiya and that toad talked about before the fight with pein.

actually it's not finshed remeber what yamato said that he did not completly fuse his wind charkra with the rasengan
