It looks like a flashback, and u can also see that he dosent have the necklace in the flashback.

About the trees, i think that's normal trees from frog world :/

Nahh, those aren't blown away trees, because the trees at the bottom are still intact. If the trees in the back were blown away, then surely the trees in front would be to. No, that's not toad oil, I don't think. Pretty sure he's just drenched in sweat. He's shirt-less, so your gonna see the sweat on his whole body, not just his face. And the reason he's not sweaty in the very next panel is because of sage mode. It allows him to recover very quickly, thus he is no longer sweaty. That last panel I'm sure is some kind of weird toad structure. Like a toad house or something. The dots are probably windows. Like I said a million times already, he's practicing RasenShuriken and trying to perfect it and add his elemental chakra in it as well.

he doesn't have a necklace....Hmmm, could it be like a printing error or is that intentional? It doesn't make sense because what would they be flashing back to?
A one panel flashback? Just doesn't make sense to me...

I read the post titled "What Naruto did at night" by Sync. I am pointing to the same page in the manga he referenced.

Notice the following.
1. Top image had Naruto very far away from the cloud of smoke. We have to assume whatever happened over there was caused by Naruto. So what did he do?
2. Next frame we see Naruto saying "I think I got it." NOTICE that in this image he is in sage mode WEARING the crystal necklace. Naruto in the foreground of the first frame, is the same Naruto that is still in sage mode in the second. You can tell by looking at the scenery behind sage-mode Naruto's head.
3. NOW look at the frame to the left. Naruto says, "its not perfect, yet I need to keep practicing in sage mode." Naruto IS NOT wearing the crystal necklass, and the background behind his head is BLACK. AND He is NOT in sage mode!!!! AND He is sweating crazily COMPARED to the previous frame. The non-sage mode Naruto is in fact a shadow clone. How do I know that this is true...
4. The only place in the first zoomed out frame that is black, is the night sky. We don't see the shadow clone Naruto in that image, so I am assuming he is in the cloud of smoke.
5. The only technique I can think of that would cause that type of smoke, would be NARUTO USING MULTI-SHADOW CLONES. He is training at night like how he did with Kakashi at the waterfall.
6. The reason why the clone is not in sage mode is simple, remember Pa-toad saying that Naruto can't do sage training using clones, because controling that amount of nature chakra is impossible and he would easily turn into a toad? Pa-told also said that sage mode enhances the body's strength, and ability to recover stamina.
7. That is why Sage-mode Naruto was able to use Multi-Shadow clones, have them do spar training until there is only one shadow clone left... AND JUST SIT BACK AND WATCH. HE ALSO DOESN'T LOOK HALF DEAD AFTER ALL THE CLONES DISAPPEAR AS IT DID IN THE PAST. Naruto now is able to literally send his clones in, figure out the enemy's weakness, while he just sits back and constantly recovers his chakra through senjutsu. His abilities are similar to Pein's. Just to be able to stand back.

When they say that its a shadow clone they r wrong. If it was a shadow clone, shouldnt he have a neclace 2?? I think kagebushin makes a 100% copy of the user, including all is clothes and acessories.

Dont u think that if naruto was fighthing and uses 10 clones without neckclace, that the opponent would easly find the real 1?

ok i explain again so that is a flashback for sure because he said maybe now i can do it a couple of chapters ago, and in the panel with black background it shows him in toad oil not in sweat im pertty sure and then the one before shows him after he learned sage mode and learns the techinique because again the black baground panel says its not perfect i have to keep practising but one before with sage mode says i think i got it!!!!
and also people i dont get it how is a building and also u kno the trees i said that are being blown away well why is naruto facing that way and lets says he is practisen rasenshuriken the wind blows the tree away so it shows to trees being seperated a little!!!!

Naruto when he was young learned how mold Physical and Spiritual energy to make shadow clones. At that time he did not have chakra control, and couldn't make clones. After a lot of training, he was able to do it. Later on he learned rasengan, and as of just recent rasen-shurrikan.

That being said. When adding Nature energy to the mix of physical and spiritual, it most likely the control isn't there. So how can he make Rasengan, FORGET rasen-shurrikan! The most likely course of action would be for Naruto to practice "Sage sparing" using Shadow clones.

Why would Naruto say that he needs to do his technique, "and remain hidden"??? Most likely it is because his plan is to stay back, and use the clones while he recharges his chakra using Natural energy.

J-man used hermit-mode, but while fighting, he was using more natural energy that what he could recover from the environment. Thats why he lost. Naruto is using a way to fight at full strength by using the clone, while his real self stays in sage mode, and recharges his chakra.

Hwver I still find that this is a flashback, the liquid looks just like oil,and the current Naruto thinks about himself before, so there is a relation b2een the flashB thoughts and the shadow clone sage bla bla fighting technique
