Theories: Why Obito Will Die Using Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu

I made a similar theory that because Nagato was an Uzumaki he might survive casting RT the same way Kushina survived Bijuu extraction despite non-Uzumaki Jinchuurikis dying in the process, or maybe because Madara was in Edo form.

Possible. Do me a favor, go to the other thread I made and weigh in on it. It's guy seems to think that Obito def had a Zetsu suit when he attacked Konoha.

Im pretty sure the reason why obito will die using it is because madara has been dead for so many years that the toll on his body would instantly kill him. This explains why nagato was able to revive everybody in konoha, because they died that same day, rather than a decade ago

Well I think he was reviving the current ninja because he was responsible for their deaths.

maybe obito is lying because when nagato used it he had low chakra but obito hasnt got as low chakra.

OR you need to have 2 rinnegans to survive and use rinne tensei

Doesn't seem like a likely lie. Madara is the owner of the Rinnegan.

1. Tobi lied to Nagato and RT will kill the user no matter what

2. Low on Chakra (like you suggested)
