( Dokkōdō: Gatotsu ) - The Alone Way: Fang Point - Another simple one, using Senjutsu you cloak your blade, this gives it more heft (weight) and the senjutsu chakra cloak goes up to mid range extending the range of the blade, it mentions increasing the surface area of attacks which implies the blade also widens, whiles staying sharp you can consider it the difference between going from a thin Katana to suddenly using a something like a Bastard sword.. This technique reminds me of a move from Shaman King tbh..
The technique is capable of destroying high level seals as well as other things, this technique will also cause your opponents damage resistance to drop, depending on the level of the technique, fairly simple all round
Question - It says we are capable of destroying high level seals, does this mean that we destroy them in a confrontation and can use our damage to over ride the seal? I was informed most sealing jutsu's confrontations are done in a chakra Vs chakra basis, this technique doing what it does im guess we don't go by that concept
That being the case would it also destroy already applied seals, for example seal's on my opponents body that are there for specific reasons?
Question - Can you also tell me what other things it is capable of destroying, it may just be fluff text but if it has any direct mechanical interactions I would like to know
( Dokkōdō: Tenmetsu Hikari ) – The Alone Way: Blinding Light - This one I understood quite well I think, it is essentially the user dissipating the built up chakra/energy within him across the field creating a kind of flash bang, both one designed for the eyes and senses of chakra sensory, this is likely because the spike of chakra is too overwhelming, similar to someone wearing infrared goggles and being in a sauna where there is nothing but heat, they would end up seeing nothing.
The energy spreads outwards from the user, creating a box of chakra, very similar to a fuuin jutsu seal I imagine, like the one the kages used against the juubi, whiles inside the box the enemy is unable to escape unless they directly overpower the seal.
The area is filled with the users chakra which in turn he is able to utilize, within short range of himself he can directly replicate a sword which can be used as such, I would guess this sword can be used like a regular sword for his techniques, I see it as also being able to use these replica's without necessarily having to hold them and instead sending them directly to attack the opponent, it mentions arc's which im assuming means much like a previous technique I can use the chakra in the area to directly send out crescents/arcs of senjutsu chakra at my opponent, it is also possible to create a replica of myself using this energy which i can create short range of my opponent, which can perform kenjutsu techniques, my guess this includes Dokkodo techniques since the energy the clone is very made of is senjutsu which is the basis of dokkodo.
Lastly, for all of the above to continue to exist the user must keep hold of the blade he originally used the technique with, otherwise the technique will fail and the entire mode will end early, I imagine this is because all the senjutsu chakra the user had was initially dispelled to create the area and ability and the only thing keeping it going is the senjutsu chakra within the sword, dropping the sword would break the connection and hence the jutsu. Providing the sword is kept during the entire 4 turns, no drawbacks will be felt.
Despite the technique saying N/A with damage, I am guessing this is because the actual technique is the creation of the zone lets call it, where as the things I can do within the zone such as blade replica's and arcs of senjutsu, these would all be of the appropriate rank and damage?
