The Uzumakis Were Indeed Just Distant Blood Relatives

Even with your given example, the common direct ancestor being the Younger son, that would still make them close/immediate relatives for being a sibling clan, which is false because Kushina clearly stated they (the current Uzumakis) were distant blood relatives

Even if you refer to the Senjus or their descendants as Uzumakis, the fact remains that they descended from a common direct ancestor (Younger son) while the other Uzumakis (Kushina,Mito, etc) descended from Rikudou's other relatives, so any uzumaki not sharing the same direct ancestor (Elder/Younger Son) are classified as distant relatives.

Again, you assume that these "other" Uzumakis (Kushina, Mito, etc) did not descend from the YOUNGER SON. How do you know this? You claim that the Uzumaki's OLDER THAN THE SAGE is the current bloodline of the current Uzumaki's, but we both know this is an assumption. Again, please show me the manga that states the Current Uzumaki's descended from lineage outside of the Sage blood himself OR that the DIRECT FIRST CHILDREN of the Younger Son IMMEDIATELY changed their name to Senju.

But you cant. Thats why its unknown, we have no idea what generation the Younger Son's descendents started calling themselves "Senju" instead of Uzumaki. If the Younger Son children were NOT their 1st Senju, this means there are Uzumaki's alive that descended from the Younger Son specifically but are NOT considered Senju.

All I said was show me the manga where it shows the children (not grand children, great grand children, etc) of the Younger Son started calling themselves Senju and I'll believe you. If this is not true, it means that there are shinobi with the UZUMAKI clan sirname that were descended from the Younger Son, correct?

By the simple fact that Kushina referred to the Uzumakis holistically as distant blood relatives of the Senjus, then it only means that they do not share common direct descent with the Senjus through the Younger Son. For if their common ancestor was him (younger son) that would make them a sibling clan with the Senjus which makes them close relatives of the Senjus which would contradict Kushina's statement.

Why did Madara add Senju DNA to His Uchiha DNA? By adding to DNA together as one you stop generically speaking being an Uchiha, You becomes a Uzumaki. Madara's reverse engineering turn Him into a Uzumaki like the SO6P.

Exactly, the original bloodline is Uzumaki ;)

At the one guy debating Sir Derp Obito.

See it like this:

There were Uzumaki's. They continued to have their own direct line of offspring. Mito, Kushina... et ceterea. That's one branch. That branch is the distant relatives of Senju. Agreed?

Once there was one Uzumaki Sage, who got a Natural phenomenal entity enfused with his being. Altering his fenotype, and most likely, his genotype as well. Naturally, his offspring had a different genetical structure(or structures, in this case) than the parent. And can be considered an new line of

That different structure adds a different category in the taxonomic class of the Uzumaki branch of humans, branching out in Uchiha, and Senju. Actually... That doesn't have to be the case. Consider both the sons mutants in the Uzumaki class, and THEIR offspring, with the gene pool of their mates to be the first Senju, and Uchiha.

This happens in Nature all the time. The Galapagos Islands(where Darwin got his inspiration, and epiphany) are great for proving this. Many bird species, and snake species are different on adjacent islands, share a common ancestor, and after one specimen of an organism had different characteristics, became dominant in genes after being quite successful in surviving, eliminating the original species. It's called mutation.

Might not use the right words, but I never discussed biology in English, it's not my native tongue.

Ones more you have hit the nail on the Head. I would add simple Math for the extra punch. Uchiha DNA + Senju DNA = Uzumaki.

Not really... Closer, yes, but you can't simply put it like that. Genetic structures are far more complicated than that. It could alter your genetic structure to resemble the the ancestor much more, yes. But it's not like Uchiha+Senju = Uzumaki.

Besides. In some way, the sage technically stopped being an Uzumaki, after his genetic structure altered, and mutated(Rinnegan).

But it's fiction... so maybe yes... :D fu...si...on... HA! and tada! Uzumaki's!

Uhm no. If enough generations has passed, they would technically become distant relatives.

Good point. If they were really relatives, then they would help the Senju in their battle against the Uchiha. :)

*Damn, I'm late D:*

Instead of rushing the war like they did, why not involve an arc about the Uzumaki clan :/
sigh..

We can't say that the Sage had no clan... It's like saying that the Sage just poofed into reality. A clan is just a bunch of families together.

He had a clan(just like he had parents), but we can't say it's Uzumaki either.
