Sorry, I completely forgot about this (I was working on a different fanfic), but here it is 
. I'll post two chapters to make up for it. (Comments are nice... Please I want to know what you think.)
Sakura: *thinking* Oh, there's a cave about a hundred meters ahead.
Sakura summoned all her strength as she picked up Sasuke and ran to the cave. She exhaled as she carefully put him down.
Sakura: Oof...
She looked at the barrel.
Sakura: *thinking* I'll need to train harder to keep up with him.
She looked at the barrel more closely. It was difficult to see in the semi-darkness, but there appeared to be purple smoke coming off it.
Sakura: *thinking* The transformation must be finishing, like Kimimarou said.
She cautiously took a few steps away from the barrel as it continued giving off the purple smoke. The shadows and very little light made it quite a frightening sight.
Sakura: *thinking* I've got an ominous feeling... Like I shouldn't be here or something...
Suddenly, the purple smoke ceased and the seals fell of the barrel. Sakura took a few more steps back but didn't want to leave Sasuke. The barrel then fell apart as Sasuke stood up and stepped around what was left of the barrel. His face was hidden in the semi-darkness but Sakura had sensed a slight change in him.
Sakura: H-... How do you feel?
Sasuke: ... Stronger.
He examined his arms and flexed his fingers, looking for any physical changes. Sakura stepped closer to him and gasped.
Sasuke: What?!
He turned around to see if there was an intruder, then he noticed the slightly frightened look on her face.
Sasuke: What is it?
Sakura: Y-your face... it's...
But she couldn't finish. Half of his face was covered in black markings that resembled flames and they continued down onto his arm as well.
Sakura: *thinking* It's like that time in the Forest of Death.
She remembered now merciless he had been when he was attacking the Sound ninja.
Sakura: *thinking* Does this mean he's even stronger than he was then?
When Sakura had lost her frightened expression, Sasuke turned toward the mouth of the cave.
Sasuke: Let's keep moving.
Sakura: Alright.
They stepped out of the cave. They could see Naruto still fighting Kimimarou, though it looked like he was losing.
...
Naruto: Where did my friends go?!
Kimimarou: They are of no importance to you now.
Naruto: What are you talking about?! They're my friends, of course they're important to me!
Kimimarou: Are they really your friends if they left you?
Naruto stood there, bristling with rage. Some of his rage was replaced by sadness when he realized there may be some truth behind Kimimarou's words.
Naruto: *thinking* Maybe he's right...No, Sasuke's just not thinking straight and neither is Sakura. They wouldn't really leave me.
His sadness disappeared.
Naruto: Like I would listen to you!
His shadow clones threw three other shadow clones at Kimimarou. Each of them exploded in a puff of smoke as Kimimarou easily countered each one. this frustrated Naruto.
Naruto: *thinking* Darn! I just can't hit this guy!
Kimimarou: I've had enough playing around, time to finish this.
Kimimarou's curse mark spread across his body as he ran at Naruto. All of his clones disappeared after being hit by Kimimarou.
Naruto:*thinking* Dammit! What do I do? I haven't got enough chakra left to make more clones.
Suddenly a foot came out of no where and kicked Kimimarou in the chest.
Lee: Dynamic Entry!... What the-?
Instead of colliding with flesh, Lee's foot had hit bones. Kimimarou had what looked like his rib cage sticking out of his chest. It seemed he had barely noticed the attack.
Kimimarou: What a pitiful technique.
He knocked Lee away with a swipe of his sword. Lee quickly stood and entered his battle position, then he turned to face Naruto.
Naruto: Bushy-brows? I thought you were in the hospital.
Lee: You were in need of help, so here I am. You want to bring Sasuke and Sakura back, right?
Naruto: Yeah!
Lee: Then go forth with the power of youth and save them! I will finish this foe off!
Naruto: Alright! Thanks, Bushy-brows!
Lee returned his smile before turning back to the new enemy, while Naruto turned and ran off into the trees where he saw Sakura disappear.
Naruto: Sakura! Where did you go?!
He jumped up into the tree branches, hoping to see his friends but instead only saw endless forest. He started jumping from tree to tree, hopefully going in the right direction.
Naruto: *yelling* Sasuke! Sakura! Dammit, where are they?!
