I realized how short my other chapter was, so I posted this one. Also, criticism is appreciated, tell me what you think.
Another Sound ninja suddenly appeared and joined Sakon and Sakura.
Sakon: Kimimaru?
Kimimaru looked at the coffin with Sasuke inside.
Kimimaru: So this the one who has replaced me as a vessel... I will protect him with my life... Sakon, there are still Hidden Leaf ninja following you. Give me the vessel, I'll continue on.
He motioned to Sakura.
Kimimaru: Girl, you should come with as well.
Sakon passed the coffin to Kimimaru, but had a look of bewilderment on his face.
Sakon: *thinking* I knew you had been replaced as a vessel, but I thought it was because you were so ill that you could barely move...
...
Kiba: Wait Naruto, stop for a second... sniff sniff... Somebody else joined Sakura and that two-headed guy here.
Kiba jumped around a couple of the branches, still searching with his nose.
Kiba: Then they split up. Sakura and the new guy took Sasuke and continued on. The two-headed guy's scent ends here then goes sniff sniff that way.
He pointed toward a leaf covered branch, where someone stuck their head... No, heads out of the leaves.
Sakon: Great, mutt. You've found me, I was hoping to ambush you.
Kiba started whispering something to Naruto.
Kiba: I'll throw a kunai with an explosive tag at the two-headed guy, then during the explosion you run ahead and catch up with Sakura. Got it?
Naruto: Right, thanks Kiba.
Sakon: What are you two chatting about?
Kiba turned back towards his enemy and threw a kunai with an explosive tag at Sakon. He jumped from the branch but wasn't expecting an explosion, thus giving Naruto a few seconds to get away during his confusion.
Kiba: Go now, Naruto!
Sakon finally jumped out of the smoke and searched for the two Hidden Leaf genin.
Sakon: *thinking* Where'd they go?
Kiba: Man-beast Clone, Fang over Fang!
Suddenly, two spinning... things... came out of nowhere and sent the Sound ninja flying. He quickly recuperated and glared at Kiba and Akamaru, who were now standing on the forest floor.
Sakon: Stupid Konoha mutt! Like you'd beat me that easy!
...
Naruto continued through the forest alone, in the direction Kiba had pointed. He could see a clearing up ahead.
Naruto: *thinking* Maybe they stopped there...
Now closer to the clearing, he could see Sakura and some other guy standing next to what looked like a coffin with seals on it.
Naruto: *thinking* Who does he think he is? Taking my friends like they're... like they're...
He was so filled with rage he was having trouble thinking straight. The man had picked up the coffin when Naruto burst into the clearing.
Naruto: Where d'you think you're goin'?
His eyes had turned red and his pupils had turned to slits. There was an ominous feeling coming off of him, killing intent filled only with rage
Naruto: You better give my friends back!
Kimimaru: I cannot give the Uchiha to you on orders of Orochimaru-sama and besides, they came of their own free will.
Sakura: *thinking* Why can't he get that through his thick head?
Naruto: RAAAH! Give them back!
Sakura backed away as Naruto charged at Kimimaru, but he wasn't fazed at all. Kimimaru's shoulder became misshapen as the bone started to stick out. He pulled it from his body until he had a full sword of bone in his hand.
Sakura: *thinking* Eew, that's just weird...
Kimimaru blocked Naruto's barrage with his sword, then kicked him a considerable distance.
Naruto: Oof!
Naruto ran at him again, only this time instead of kicked out of the way, he was punched in the gut. Kimimaru turned to face Sakura, then motioned to the coffin.
Kimimaru: Girl... Can you lift him?
Sakura: Mm... I think so.
Kimimaru: Good. Take him and find shelter, the transformation should be almost finished. I'll find you once I'm through with him and we'll continue on to the hideout.
Sakura looked at Naruto fighting Kimimaru, he obviously wasn't going to give up. She knew Sasuke well to know that as soon as he was awake, he'd want to keep moving.
Sakura: What if Sasuke wants to keep moving and you're not finished?
Kimimaru: Then continue heading west for a couple of kilometers, you should be relatively close by then.
Sakura: Alright.
Sakura started walking towards Sasuke's coffin but stopped when Naruto started to yell at her.
Naruto: Hey! Sakura! Are you are actually going to listen to this guy?! What about all the others, what about me? Don't we mean anything to you?
Sakura: ...No.
Naruto, now heartbroken as well as bristling with rage, began to attack Kimimaru more fiercely than ever. He watched as Sakura half carried, half dragged the coffin with Sasuke inside to the edge of the clearing.
Naruto: RAAAAAH! SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!
Suddenly Kimimaru was surrounded by hundreds of angry, yelling Narutos. they all started attacking at once.
Kimimaru: Dance of the Willow.
Kimimaru spun around, kicking, stabbing and punching all the clones, their numbers dwindling as they disappeared in puffs of smoke.
