So I kept forgetting to post this, but here it is!
Tsunade: WHAT?!... Damn that Orochimaru...
Kakashi:They must have left sometime last night. *thinking* I guess talking to Sasuke didn't do any good...
Tsunade: But why would Sakura go with him? She was in the middle of her training too...
Kakashi: Well... It did seem that she really... Uh... Liked him. I'm guessing that she was trying to stop him from leaving, but that obviously didn't work. So then she tried to convince Sasuke to bring her with him.
Tsunade: I thought Sasuke would be the kind of person to do this alone...
Kakashi: I guess when someone is really desperate, they make things work.
Tsunade looked past Kakashi to see Naruto, anxiously awaiting the Hokage's decision on what to do next. He straightened up and walked up to her.
Naruto: We have to go after them! *thinking* I have to bring them back!
Tsunade looked at her papers.
Tsunade: I have no available jounins, but Shikamaru's free and he can help you gather up a squad.
Tsunade had barely finished before Naruto had spun around and ran out the door but not before responding.
Naruto: I'm on it! Thanks, granny!
Tsunade silently laughed a little, though she wished he didn't call her that.
Tsunade: Kakashi, I want you to stay as you're still recovering. But if they're not back by tonight, I want you to go out and search for them. *thinking* I've got a bad feeling about this.
Kakashi: Roger.

BANG BANG BANG
Naruto was pounding on Shikamaru's door.
Naruto: Shikamaru! I know your in there! Get off your lazy ass!
They were footsteps then Shikamaru appeared in the doorway.
Shikamaru: Can you not yell? My mom'll get mad at me...What is it?
Naruto: I need your help. Sasuke has kinda.. well.. abandoned the village and I need to bring him back. You can help me make a team so we can go after them.
Shikamaru: Wait... You said "them" that time...?
Naruto: Well... You see, somehow Sakura convinced Sasuke to take her with him, so now they've both abandoned the village.
Shikamaru: Uhg... this is so troublesome... We'll need good trackers, so you'll have to get Kiba and Neji. I'll bring Chouji along as well.
Naruto: Uh... I'll get Kiba, I'm pretty sure Neji still kinda hates me... Why Chouji?
Shikamaru: 'Cuz he's my friend and we work well together. Meet us at the western gate in a half an hour.
Naruto: Got it!
Half an hour later...
Shikamaru: Alright, now that every one's here, I have matters to discuss. First off, seeing as I'm the only chuunin here, I'm captain.
Naruto was a little disappointed, seeing as they were HIS teammates they were to save.
Shikamaru: Naruto, you explained the situation to Kiba, right?
Naruto: Uuh-
Kiba: Nope, I have no idea why I'm here.
Shikamaru looked expectantly at Naruto, waiting for him to explain.
Naruto: Hehe, oops. Must've forgot... So, Sasuke's left the village and Sakura went with him.
Kiba: What?!... That bas****d, thinking he's so great, he can just leave the village...
He continued grumbling to himself until Shikamaru continued.
Shikamaru: Secondly, I'll discuss formation. As we don't know where Sasuke and Sakura went, Kiba will lead the way with his nose.
Kiba: And Akamaru!
Shikamaru: And Akamaru. Then it will be Naruto, who can spread out and look out for enemies with his shadow clones. Then it's myself, then Neji will be the tail. He'll be watching from behind with the Byakugan.
Neji: Right.
Chouji: And what about me?
Shikamaru: Sorry about that Chouji, you'll be behind Naruto. Everyone got it?
Everyone nodded.
Shikamaru: Good. Now, I'd just like to check everyone's equipment before we go.
Naruto turned as he heard someone approaching.
Hinta: N-naruto...
Naruto: Yeah?
Hinata: G-...G-good luck...
Naruto smiled.
Naruto: Aw, thanks Hinata.
Hinata turned bright red and hid behind the Leaf Village gate. Tsunade had appeared and was walking up to the group. Shikamaru had finished looking at everyone's equipment, so he turned to face the Hokage.
Tsunade: I don't know who or what you'll be facing, but I want you to be careful. This is now an official A-rank mission, you're going to bring back Sakura and Sasuke. I wish you all good luck, now go!
The assembled ninja jumped off in to the forest, leaving Hinata and Tsunade standing alone at the gate.
Tsunade: *thinking* Please come back alive...
