Hey guys
I have read countless topics saying that Hiruzen is all about hype, I'm here to proof that he is worth a place in the top 10 or maybe even the top 5 strongest shinobi, to start with, pardon my English it isn't my main language.
Stated in the Manga and Anime as the 'Professor,' and was said to be the strongest of all the Hokage in his Prime.

This was stated by Iruka, a sensei in the Academy, as a sensei of the Academy you have to give objective lessons, your own opinion doesn't count.
Even the ANBU and Enma said that he's aging after he couldn't land a hit on the first and second Hokage (which probably means that he could fight them on par)
Defeating Orochimaru, the first and second Hokage
That the first and second Hokage weren't on full power and that Oro didn't take the fight serious at the beginning is most likely a fact but this isn't a valid reason to kind of lose to an old geezer. (risked his own life, but still managed to kill the 2 Kages and damage Oro hard)
Capable of 5 elements and "thousand" (many atleast) Justu's
He and only he showed us to be capable of using the 5 elements though he's an old geezer.
Besides that it has been said that he can use all Konoha Jutsu's (except the Doujutsu's), his fight agianst Oro and his Edo form proofed that he knows a lot, whether he can use all of them is unknown. I won't post any screens because there literally are hundred of them.
My point
My point is that he sure isn't the strongest Shinobi, but there's no reason to place as example Tsunade above this man, he truly was a genious, with incredible speed, knowledge, a bunch of Jutsu's. The man that fought Orochimaru and the Kages was merely an old geezer, aging is naturally so in his Prime he was like all people are in their youth, stronger. In my eyes the only Kage that's stronger than Hiruzen's Prime is Hashirama.
