Here is a similar riddle which requires more steps.

Six people need to cross a river. A boat is available which can carry only two at a time. All the six should get the other side. Three persons are normal guys. The other three guys are barbarians (duh). The restriction is the barbarians will eat the normal guys if they outnumber the normal guys, so don't let the normal guys get eaten . My riddle:
3 friends make a deal about buying a ball which costs 150 € (3x 50 each). Salesman sells it at full price, but after they left the store, owner of the shop has lowered the price of the ball to 100 € and send his employee to find these 3 friends and gave them back 50 €. However, salesman wants to profit from it, so as soon as he finds these friends he tells them that it was his mistake and the ball costed only 120 € and gives each of them 10 € => he spared 20 € for himself.

Question : If everyone gave 50 € and gets 10 back = everyone paid 40. 3 friends x 40 € = 120 + 20 € salesman´s cheat = 140 , but they paid 150. WHRE IS 10 €?

You are equating wrongly. You cant add 20 to 120 to make 150.
20 is already part of 120.
so 120 paid + 30 returned = 150 original.
