Manga never stated arrogance is a factor that lets Izanami capture victims. It's because they are trying to change the results they've gotten basically, trying to be someone who they aren't and never will be is an example. Madara doesn't meet those requirements.

wasn't Kabuto arrogant which first of all came from him not being able to accept reality? All of his self pride , led him to be put in the izanami in the first place. Just like how madara is big of himself
