The Top Overrated Shinobi so far ?

Itachi is one of my favorite characters, but he is THE most overhyped character in the series. If he was as strong as people make him out to be then Kabuto would have used him as a trump card, not Madara.

People act like he can one hit K.O everyone. They provide no logic except for Susano'o and Sword of Totsuka. People act as though Susano'o can't be bypassed, which has been done almost TWICE (failed attempt by Danzo only due to Sasuke's quick thinking).

OR people just merely state that Tsukuyomi will instantly win without any thought as to how if one DOES break it, the strain actually reverses on Itachi instead of the victim.

OR people state that he has a ton of stamina which he doesnt. In Part I he pulled like three Mangekyo jutsu's and was panting. We only heard about him having the disease in Part II where Zetsu noted that he was doing things differently in battle than he was before.

SERIOUSLY?? I love Itachi. One of THE most badass characters. I love how him, Naruto, and Killer Bee took on Nagato and how he remained calm in front of the jutsu that managed to contain the Kyuubi, but come on guys. Hop off his ****.

AND people have enough nerve to say that he broke out of Edo Tensei himself as though he did it on PURPOSE?? He was freed due to a long string of events that were meant to be used on SASUKE, but were accidentally used on HIM.

If Itachi didn't physically look like a badass, then I feel that people would like him less even if he had the same abilities.

SO6P....... Yah he's that almighty true, but it is all pure hype and speculation. Just like Prime Hiruzen, Hashirama.... We have never seen them fight at their best, and people OVERRATED THEM in such a ridiculous way.

True he defeated the 10 tails..... but what we don't know is.... under what circunstances? and it was a seal, not that he killed it. It is an amazing and impressive feat..... But NO MORE THAN THAT.

If you really think about it, the Sage actually lost the battle with the Juubi. For the time being, he did his thing, but the thing is that tailed beasts have such long lifespans that sealing them into your body, you dying they are ripped out of you, seems more like a loss to the Jinchuuriki.

The Sage also sealed the Juubi into himself to rid the world of its terror, however when he died he knew it would come back into existence. Since the other tailed beasts are mere extensions of the Juubi, he actually lost in a way because if he COULD have physically killed the Juubi there would be NO tailed beasts.

i think kakashi is overrated. actually guys this is my first post but iam know everything about naruto and naruto shippuden iam not boasting guys

We don't care if it's a first post hehe. I used to argue with mods when I started. I judge you more on if you seem like if you know what you are talking about.

However if you have 1,000+ posts and one rep bar then it's hard to take most of what you say seriously.

We both have different opinions on what overrated means, however, the conclusion is the same. Itchai is one of the most strongest in the series, in my opinion, but i keep saying "Itchai is the best he freed himself from Edo". As if he did it on purpose which was not and refuse to believe there is other better ninjas, thus in my opinion he is overrated. But that's just my opinion, he's still on my top 5 favorite shinobi's.

It doesn't matter that Itachi was sick or not, his entire plan was to lose to sasuke. People who don't comprehend this, don't comprehend the manga, don't even bother replying to them, they humiliate themselfs when they make such comments

i hate the uchiha but i think itachi stronger than pain. my reason is because naruto and sasuke are supposed to be equals thoughout the whole show and when naruto beat pain he was in sage mode around the same time is when sasuke beast his brother itachi but itachi wanted to die and make his brother stronger so if he really wanted to. and wasnt sick he would of killed sasuke and since sasuke was at the same lv as naruto was and naruto beat pain then couldnt itachi of beaten pain? makes since to me
