ok so i was thinkin and its just thoughts but ive been reading every1 say that Hanzō is so strong cuz he defeated the three Sannins but is it me or has nobody noticed that he beat them when they were younger before they had there animal summonings before they really became strong i say if hanzo took them on at the level they were now [and i mean before they died] he wouldnt last a sec but hey thats just me thinking out loud lol so tell me what yu think

I could be mistaken but i dont think i am. Hanzo never defeated the Sannin!!!
The battle was a tie cause hanzo stopped the battle, and stated that Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru were now deemed Legendary for going toe to toe with him. Hanzo was a freakin badass Kage!
This i know is accurate:all three sannin had their animal summonings
plz go back and watch the anime or manga and you'll see

True they were all jounin at the time and were dealing with the war. Afterwards is when their research made them even greater. Jiraiya with Sage Mode and his journies, tsunade with her perfect medical jutsu, and orochimaru with his experiments.

possibly they might be stronger than hanzo now.
a recurring theme in this manga anyway is how the younger generation surpasses the older...
so most likely what was deemed strong then would be less so now.

One: you stated ur question with a bunch of statements and a few of them were inaccurate
two: hanzo was a kage and probably in his late 30's, the sannin were all in their 20's(not positive but they were young) experience in the ninja world means alot in power difference.
so yes now a days the sannin would destroy hanzo if they faced him 3 vs 1
