Located somewhere on the coast of Kirigakure, a young lady by the name of Alice sat on her chair in her mansion. Although she was tired from such a harsh day at the training academy of chef's she had someone else who was suppose to be coming to her mansion. Lima was on her way and Alice was frantically getting her dinning halls ready for the Candy Maker.
Alice: She is coming! Please hurry up!
She told her servants to set the dining table for her leader's arrival
Lima skips joyfully up the path that leads to the giant house. She looks childish and pretty, even though she's holding a mutilated heart that she most likely gauged out of someone, while they still lived. She would present it to her hostess as the heart of someone who loved unconditionally until it beat one last time. She could taste the lingering Love in the heart, and, seeing as the woman who was hosting her was a Sansor Paladar, she was sure she would be able to taste it as well.

The taste of her leader’s chakra was sweet yet deadly, one can easily suffer from a sugar rush from such levels of sweetness. Alice removed herself from the throne and walked into the main foyer as she saw a her pinkette leader.

She paused at the sight of the mutilated heart, Alice with post haste took an air fresher and sprayed the decaying organ with it. She then took the heart and had one of her servants place it into a glasses case to later mount it. She nervously turned to Lima with several sweat drops.
Alice: I understand and adore your passion for Love, almost like I am with Pride and Happiness but…please do remember we like the tastes of our desires Lima-chan…smell isn’t the same thing…
Alice nervously said hopping she didn’t upset her leader. She did accept it afterall, but moment later her attention was diverted towards the straining of a chair being dragged. She clapped her hands and moved to the side gesturing her leader to come with her.

As the two began to walk Alice heard Lima mention the other guest to which Alice placed her hand on her mouth and snickered slightly. It seems the other member who showed promise was late. Alice chuckled as she walked and spoke to her back.
Alice: Yes I also invited Rey-chan to the mansion since she has proven to be quite the warrior of the clan despite her…unusual appearance. I did invite her but it seems she might be running a little late to the training session today. She needs to learn how to use her abilities more where as you said you’d like an evaluation of prowess with the clan arts.
Alice said reaching towards Lima’s designated chair, to which one of several Sils simply drew the chair from under the table to allow Lima to sit. Alice continued towards her throne on the further end of the table to which she clapped her hands and the others sat down and began to eat and enjoy the feast.
Alice from her throne saw an empty sit next to Lima which was designated for Rey. She signed and tried to make conversation with Lima as she eats her food waiting on Rey.
Alice: Tell me Lima-chan, how are the other two Paladars? Yashiro-kun and Neo-chan if I recall their names correctly. Have they passed evaluations or am I the first?
Alice asked as she eat her Lemon dipped Pork with a simple sauce along with some beaned rice and salad on the side.
Knowing that she was supposed to meet up with a superior member of her clan, Rey got herself ready. Clothed in her usual attire, with a dual staff on her back, Rey set forth to the misty aisles of Kirigakure. It was an innocent yet brave and kind hearted, a splendid taste to her tongue one might ask. Alice knew of this chakra signal and once she came into the hall she heard her friend Rey ask about the woman here with us. Alice wiped her lips and simple did a silent “mhm” with her mouth stuffed with food. She used the corrosive nature of salvia to near instantly break down the food and eat it as she now was ready to address her underling and teacher.
Alice: Indeed she is, Miss Lima id like you to meet Rey Ganmi. She isn’t exactly the most…super when it comes to outfits but rest assured, that pretty little face is a force to be reckoned with. Merely watching events unfold, Rey followed Alice to the door. Would she discover more about her Ganmi heritage now, would they delve deeper into their combat prowess, or was it simply a meeting of fellow members? Rey wasn't 100% sure, and she didn't want to ask either. Her eyes shone with determination as she awaited further instructions from her two superiors.
AS Alice lead the group, Lima kept back, analyzing Rey and the Paladar. They were fine specimen, female, intelligent and powerful, but she could still not detect the finer subtleties of their personalities, what made them tick. As they arrived, she once again took over control of the group, standing in a triangle formation to taste them both.
This is how this event will proceed. Rey, you will be trained in our arts from the scratch, and I shall upgrade your rank accordingly. Alice, you will obviously not learn anything too new, and will instead help me train Rey. This will allow me to taste your training, and understand the flavor of your prowess, and whether or not I can count on our to pass on our knowledge.

Alice with a clap of her hands brought out several Bitter Ranked members of the clan to be summoned into the courtyard. She turned her attention back towards Lima and Rey once the other girl answered.
Alice: Yes as you wish Miss Lime, I provided several of my shinobi to help in as…”practice” buddies for our session. Rey-chan please don’t hold back, they are much stronger then you but I believe you have what it takes be better than them! Prove it to lady Lime and sure you’ll make it.
Alice told Rey with an honest smile, she turned towards the fodder Bitter ranked members and with a snicker she laughed slightly at them as they are the ones to be used as training dummies. They can’t deny there sensei and upper clansmen so without a word they remained quiet. Alice in her mind pondered on Lima’s words

Meaning teaching the clan arts to others as well, or does she mean something else. Who knows , only time will tell for the silver haired maiden as she stood by for Rey’s training

Rey's eyes gloomed with anticipation as Lima told her what to do. She was in the spotlight now, and what she said, would determine how things proceeded.

Rey says, as she focuses. Closing her eyes in the process, Rey tunes in, tasting everything around her, focusing on Lima at first. Her chakra now focused around her mouth. She couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the exquisite and exotic taste that engulfed her entire mouth. Love, bittersweet love. The embodiment of it. So pure, so clear..so..tasty. She made the air around her, hers. She was a master at it, after all, being the Candymaster.
"Hmm, focusing around you, Lima, I couldn't help but taste a variety of flavors. Your chakra, so strong and tense, something I hadn't tasted before. Sweet, and energetic, yet still somewhat sinister, and sour within. An odd mix of flavors, and definitely unique to you.. Every person has a unique taste, as I had tested this before.. Now, onto Alice."
Rey said, with a smile crossing her delicate face. Her focus now on Alice. Something else completely, tender and spicy, like a buffet of flavors. Less in terms of strength and power, yet still quite powerful to her taste buds.
"Definitely not the same as to Lima, who was a juxtaposition between sweet and sour. Alice, the air around you is filled with a taste of strength and determination, a deadly dish of delicious and magnificent dishes."
Rey scratched her head, as she looked at Lima.
"I guess one becomes more refined with a rise in rank, or the more on tastes? So much more can be tasted, and experienced.."
She was eager, yet shy as well. She didn't know much, but she hoped that her attempt at tasting the situation would be correct.
She clapped her hands and clicked her tongue, with a joyful smile.

In her corner of the triangle Alice along with her other helpers started to patiently wait on Rey. Alice calmly resonated her chakra into her tongue and throat as she silently did the same as Rey. She wanted to learn more about her chakra. The taste buds of Alice surged for a moment tasting the air around her. She was overwhelmed by the higher and much more divine flavor coming from Lima. The mixture was amazing, sweet and sour yet with a pinch of spiciness but not in looks but rather the compassion she had longed for. The compassion of enjoying the flavors of Love. Lima was truly the current head of clan for a reason and Alice could not disagree with Rey as she made her statement about Lima.
She then heard Rey start to analyze her, Alice smiled throughout the whole thing and heard the evaluation that her student made. She simply smiled and decided to slightly add into the teachings. She wasn’t sure if Lima would scold her but she figured as her teacher to some extent as well she should show her prowess as well.
Alice: Yes that is correct, as you become more in tune with your taste sensory the more acute and more flavors you will be able to register. Your analysis on Lima was very accurate but it’s kind of easy when her chakra is amazingly powerful. It’s pure and innocent but laying underneath it as the kiss of a bittersweet Chocolate Truffle monster! Your right about me on determination and strength but one thing you will learn as you go on is that we each have some sort of…fixation with some sort of taste. An example as you said with Miss Lima is her passion for Love, which is an accurate taste as she indulges on such sweets. I for one would be my Pride and Happiness within the clan. I love being happy and creating ways to have fun in fights but also when it comes to the Nakiri name, I take pride other everything. Reading the air and emotions we give off will be exceptionally tasty when trying to find how people are feeling in the current state of mood. Now then if I haven’t interrupted too much I let Miss Lima say her peace of mind.
Alice said finally finishing her statement towards Rey, when she heard small snickers coming from behind of her. She saw her maids smiling cheekily at Alice’s attempt to teach the new comer, only causing her Sourness to resonate more. Hopefully Rey could wind of it allowing her to understand another side of Alice as well.
Alice: Whats soo funny huh?!
Alice said towards her maids as they continued to laugh.
She shouted, clapping her hands once more. The women she had before her were well versed in the clan. Rey would soar quite easily, she tasted.
Now, we taste these emotions, these details. But have you not found it easy to actually manipulate them? Have you not felt people's emotion mimic, ever so sightly, the ones you felt or wanted them to feel? And in the same note, I'm sure, as you passed through puberty, you found that your breath stank like rot and filth for years, despite whatever you did.
What if I were to tell you it is all connected?
Lima smiled, and, as she did so, a heavy, pungent stank filled the entire courtyard. It was overbearing, smothering, weakening, drunkening, foul and malevolent. And then, all of the sudden, it became extremely sweet, loving, tender, a pleasure to savor.
This is our true scent, the flavor of our saliva. This is the Ganmi born toxin. The body will unconsciously hide the breath, that's nothing more than passive manipulation of the Illusionary properties this toxin has. And on that note, allow me to dish out the first great skill of the ganmi. Ganmi Genjutsu.
Ganmi Genjutsu work by infusing our saliva toxins with chakra, and use them as a medium to cast a genjutsu onto someone. Once someone breathes in, tastes or smells our toxins, they will be processing our chakra and it will go to their mind, to produce any desired illusion. It's very similar to Sound Genjutsu, Doujutsu Genjutsu, etc. I myself am proficient in all 5 Basic Sense Genjutsu, including Touch and Smell.
As she spoke, the whole courtyard began to shift and bend. Slowly you started to see the walls of the house exude a sweet and subtle chocolate scent, and they began to shift in texture until both of you, and everyone present, started to see them not as stone but as white chocolate, glistening to the gentle heat of the sun.
Rey, I want you to tap into your throat and mouth, and spread the toxins through the air. I'm sure you're well versed in water. Think of it as you spitting out a water jutsu, but focus only on your saliva. Blow air if you require, it's easier. Guide the chakra-filled toxins to all of us, individually, and change the texture of the walls. Change it to whatever you feel like. This is the same as Genjutsu, you are merely shifting the casting medium. As you feel more confident, you can start to affect people at a time, but I want everyone to believe there is no longer white chocolate in these walls.

Rey focused all her attention to Lima as she spoke. Despite the lovely taste filling her mouth, Rey had to stay focused on the task at hand. She was going to be shown unique skills, perhaps. Ones that only those within the Ganmi clan have. As Lima explained, and the two flavors, one rotten to the core and the other, as sweet and soft as a mother's touch. She then spoke of the Ganmi Saliva, something Rey didn't know about. It had been there, this whole time, yet she was oblivious to it. A medium of using Genjutsu, amazing, she thought. This was a lot to take in, but within moments, she had to do it. She had to try it out, of course, with the help of Lima.
Nodding quietly, Rey focused on her throat and mouth and thought of how she utilized the Water element. Not her favorite element, but also not one she didn't like using. Fluid and strong, this was Water. The same concept applied to the Saliva? She thought. It was a toxin, more fluid and lighter, a slight blow from her mouth released outwards the toxins. A medium for her to cast a Genjutsu, as explained by Lima.
As Alice would breathe it in, the now white chocolate covered walls would form and warp into a crispy strand of bacon, dripping with syrup and delight. It's smell would engulf Alice, something Rey had never done with Genjutsu before.

This was indeed new, but following the same concept as Genjutsu made it a bit easier for Rey, who then, affected Lima's perspective. The chocolate walls would turn into a dark black and green color, as a rotten smell would escape from it towards Lima. Yellow, almost lime in color worms would emerge through small holes in the wall, as its wobbly structure barely makes it stand upright. Two completely different illusions, hopefully Rey had done it right.

"Uh..yeah. Hopefully that's what you wanted, Lima."
She shouted, clapping her hands once more. The women she had before her were well versed in the clan. Rey would soar quite easily, she tasted.
Now, we taste these emotions, these details. But have you not found it easy to actually manipulate them? Have you not felt people's emotion mimic, ever so sightly, the ones you felt or wanted them to feel? And in the same note, I'm sure, as you passed through puberty, you found that your breath stank like rot and filth for years, despite whatever you did.
What if I were to tell you it is all connected?
Lima smiled, and, as she did so, a heavy, pungent stank filled the entire courtyard. It was overbearing, smothering, weakening, drunkening, foul and malevolent. And then, all of the sudden, it became extremely sweet, loving, tender, a pleasure to savor.
This is our true scent, the flavor of our saliva. This is the Ganmi born toxin. The body will unconsciously hide the breath, that's nothing more than passive manipulation of the Illusionary properties this toxin has. And on that note, allow me to dish out the first great skill of the ganmi. Ganmi Genjutsu.
Ganmi Genjutsu work by infusing our saliva toxins with chakra, and use them as a medium to cast a genjutsu onto someone. Once someone breathes in, tastes or smells our toxins, they will be processing our chakra and it will go to their mind, to produce any desired illusion. It's very similar to Sound Genjutsu, Doujutsu Genjutsu, etc. I myself am proficient in all 5 Basic Sense Genjutsu, including Touch and Smell.
As she spoke, the whole courtyard began to shift and bend. Think of it as you spitting out a water jutsu, but focus only on your saliva. Blow air if you require, it's easier. Guide the chakra-filled toxins to all of us, individually, and change the texture of the walls. Change it to whatever you feel like. This is the same as Genjutsu, you are merely shifting the casting medium. As you feel more confident, you can start to affect people at a time, but I want everyone to believe there is no longer white chocolate in these walls.

"Uh..yeah. Hopefully that's what you wanted, Lima."
Alice who remained idol throughout the demonstration was minding her own business when her chakra taste picked up on Lima’s chakra suddenly filling the air. Alice was shocked by the amount of chakra she can produce in her toxin and to the fact that she didn’t even realize it at first made her overwhelmed.
The taste and power of the toxin was like a KO punch to her face as the dark malevolent Ganmi toxin entered her nose. She was about to drop down when suddenly the taste of the toxin became soothing and nice. She was allured by such raw and exquisite taste but it was increased more when she saw the walls of her house suddenly change into White Chocolate. She wiped her lips as she realized what was going on, considering her maids was under the same effect. Ganmi Genjutsu in its finest form she thought to herself.
Alice: White Chocolate huh? This could be a nice choice for my next cheese cake recipe. Ill be sure to send some to the lot of you once its done ok?
Alice said writing the idea down and passing it onto one of her maids to get it to the main kitchen to be prepared, having had a new recipe come up in only a moment’s notice. She then heard Lima instructing Rey to replicate what Lima had just shown to her. Alice was curious to see what the new member can do. As the toxin was released into the air and Alice caught wind of it, she seems the once White Chocolate shaped walls change into amazing cinnamon buns. The water slightly came down her mouth but she didn’t show the same reaction compared to Lima’s genjutsu. This was mainly due to the obvious strength in Lima’s power compared to Rey’s but Alice couldn’t find much fault on the new member. It was her first time trying of course. Alice then proceeds to speak again.
Alice: You did well for a first timer Rey-chan! I must admit you truly are a diamond in rough of most of the other members. One thing I must say though, your production was slightly weak because of your ranking and skill with the Ganmi Genjutsu. Don’t fear however you did well and as you progress further into the clan, the more strongly your techniques will come out and have even greater impact! Now its guess its my turn ?

Alice said stepping forward as she began to glaze her chakra into her mouth and throat. She modulated her saliva with her chakra as she let out a small breeze of Ganmi Toxin into the area. The toxin would enter the nose of all who was around and targeting the walls again , they would see the walls blend into amazing waves of strawberry milk. The milk came down like a crashing tsunami as the rich taste, ever so elegant and pure rode its way towards all of the people in the area. It was a lush pink color like Lima’s hair but much brighter with a twist and turn of silky white streams. The milk would captivate anyone who was in the vicinity of the toxin’s grace. Alice then turned to see everyone under her Genjutsu’s power
Alice: Lovely isn’t it?! Its not bad coming from a Paladar all
She said smiling towards everyone with slightly proud attitude.

Description: Harvest is one of the basic applications of the Ganmi Genjutsu. It is versatile in terms of effects and chakra cost in order to cover a wide range of applications, as well as accompany the user in terms of hierarchy within the clan, with lower clansmen having access to lesser ranks. Here, the user will use the Primary Taste of the Illusion to change how the opponents perceives the world around them with the 5 basic senses, similar to False Surroundings. It does not change how the targets see people, animals, or even themselves, only creates or alters terrains, and inanimate objects or beings. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel their surroundings, or how the surroundings make the opponents feel, based on the 5 basic Ganmi Emotions, as stated in clan's description. They fall under one of 5 category:
Anger: The changes done to the terrain will be perceived negatively. This is usually meant to create a decoy of focus onto the surroundings, rather than entities within the battlefield. The target will chase after the terrain or target the terrain or a specific inanimate object. Ex: Create a red curtain behind the opponent, which will prompt him to direct his attacks at the curtain. A wall created with this will be a target to destroy, not to avoid.
Disgust: This is meant to guide the target away from the terrain creations, and guide them into a specific place or just make them lose focus on their surroundings or specific directions. The target will be disgusted by the terrain constructions and move away from it. Ex: Create a wall of mucus that will prompt the target to move away from it, or go around it, not targeting it but rather avoiding it.
Fear: This is meant to paralyze or make a person suspect of the terrain changed. The object of the illusion will cause great fear upon the target. Ex: Create a black wall that will seem too big, too imposing, too insurmountable for the opponent to destroy or evade, or do anything but stare at it.
Happiness: This is meant to calm and attract the target to the terrain feature. This could attrack someone into it, or guide them in this way. Ex: Create a yellow pillar which the target will focus on and travel to, rather than avoiding or wanting to destroy.
Sadness: This is meant to remove the will of the opponent into doing anything. The terrain will elicit more extreme action of either defend from it or attack it. Ex: Create a blue wall that saddens the opponent, making him sad and exhausted and prompt him to do something gratifying, either destroy it or hide from it.
A person targeted by this technique can still perceive damage from the surroundings, being constricted or even cut, but only as external damage. Given the different method of casting, and the additional properties, a clansmen, especially newly started, does not require Genjutsu in order to use this technique though Genjutsu is required to use it to it's fullest potential. Without Genjutsu knowledge, the user will be able to attach an emotion to an aspect of the terrain, without actually creating a complex Primary Taste illusion, which requires Genjutsu mastery. Non-Genjutsu usages make, for example, trees appear darker or lighter, depending on the tone of the emotion, but can't be considered anything but premature Genjutsu. The rank of the user and the opponent play crucial point. Rather than wanting to move away or towards something, one can feel just an hesitation or a unforcefull will to go that can be ignored, if the difference is too big and the opponent too strong.
The user is required to describe a spread of toxins through the air 1 turn before he/she is able to perform this technique, or have had an active Saliva technique in the previous turn within 10 meters range of the target(s).
Taester require 4 handseals in order to cast this technique. They can only use it up to C rank. Biiter require the same number of handseals but can use up to B rank. Savor require 3 handseals and can use it up to A rank. Paladar require 2 handseals and can use it up to S rank. A Flavoron Paladar and the Candymaker require only 1 handseal.
Having Genjutsu as the Primary Specialty allows the user to shave 1 handseal from the total required.
All the inherent restrictions of the Clan apply to this technique.
When you cast a Genjutsu, you will change how someone perceives something, by manipulating their Senses. In Harvest, you can change how they perceive their surroundings, without being able to change how they perceive themselves or other beings. Change the walls to wood, change the woods to desert, change a dessert into a statue. Those are the types of changes you can do. You can also change a weapon into a snake. Now, at this level, and Rey, you're only able to use this up to D rank, this technique is essentially the same as False Surroundings, you can't really make your illusions have motion. As you progress in level, it becomes more complex. This is the Primary Taste of the Illusion.
Now, we might have eaten the dessert before starting with the entree, but I've taught you the Genjutsu aspect before tackling on the Emotional aspect. At it's core, this technique is undoubtedly Ganmi not just by the way it's cast, but also by it's Emotional Manipulation. We have 5 basic emotions, just as there are 5 basic tastes. They are Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happiness and Sadness.
Think of the Genjutsu as putting emphasis on a feature of the battle. For Harvest, it is the surroundings, anything that's not the Target nor an sentient Entity outside the Target. What the Emotion Manipulation does is change the way they feel about the object you focused. Stepping outside Harvest, let us start with this girl here.

Slowly, her sweet flavor starts building up in the area. And as it picks up strength, everyone starts looking at the servant in a different light. Literally, because the ginger head of the girl starts loosing it's red color and becomes darker and crispier. Then, a glob of butter appears on the top of her head, which quickly melts into what is now the absolutely crispier skin of a majorly tender grilled pork sirloin, that has replaced the ginger girl.
But is not only that. Because, suddenly, all you can feel is Happiness when looking at it. You're lured in, the sirloin wants you to be closer, to smell it more, to taste it even. There's only one urge here, and that's the closer you get to it, the happier you'll be.
And then, it changes again. The crispiness of the skin, which once looked so masterfully done and divine, now seems menacing, you fear it. It's not burnt but it was burnt, flame touched the naked skin of the pork and it detached from the bone, it severed tendons, one could even imagine that such phenomenon could only come to be by exposing a living animal onto the cruelty of fire, hot and excruciating. You're frozen in place, unable to move, and every inch of your skin crawls with the dread of the same fire touching your flesh, of the same torture befalling your beauty.
And... how sad... the paralysis felt like it was holding all of you, but now it's like you broke. Overwhelming sadness takes it's place. It was life, but now it's dead. Food, beautiful food, but at what cost. You're unsure whether you want to eat it or hide from it, but you feel so numb, so weak. You urge to feel gratified again, either flee from the sirloin, or destroy it, but not bear it.

I want you to list the emotions you felt, and then attach a fourth emotion to the same illusion, the buttery sirloin. Describe the emotions so far, and then, in real time, describe the fourth you picked. Feel free to ask any questions, please.
