The sky over the Hidden Leaf Village was finally starting to brighten, as the street lights were starting to fade, and local shops were beginning to open for a new day of business.The birds were chirping, and the villagers were getting ready for just another day of life in the Leaf.But this tale, this tale isn't about the Hidden Leaf villagers.This tale is about a young boy by the name of Inichi.
A sudden loud noise was ringing and Inichi awoke, tired and confused.Though soon enough he realized that the noise that had startled him out of his sleep was only his alarm clock which he had set early this morning.Inichi stumbled out of bed, yawning in disbelief.It's 8 am already?, Inichi thought as he quickly ran to his closet, picking out his clothes for the day.He prepared an egg sandwich while tying his boots, and made a glass of orange juice while he was at it.Stumbling out of his apartment with his sandwich in his mouth, and his hands holding his orange juice and a slip of paper, he fumbled his foot around, kicking his door closed, almost dropping his juice in the process.
I don't care if I get there looking a mess, I just need to get there in time! Inichi thought as he dashed toward the streets of the village.
He crossed a path, then another, and by the looks of the building ahead, he was getting close!He ran up to the door, surprised to see Instructor Iruka staring down at him.
Inichi halted, skidding and stirring up dirt as he stopped."Iruka-sensei!" he said, trying to catch his breath."Am I la-" "Right on time." Iruka interrupted, "Another minute and I would've been forced to fail you." A look of pure shock, but also relief flashed across Inichi's face."Come on in.", Iruka prompted.Inichi stepped in to the academy, walking in to see an empty room, other than a single pedestal.Opposite of the pedestal were the academy students that were in his class, all in attendance.
A brown-haired boy with spiky hair and a bandanna looked at him and said "Oh hey look, it's the kid who doesn't know how to fix his hair!You should really keep a comb with you, for your own good." The other students just looked at him like he was an idiot.A black-haired boy sitting in the corner of the room looked at him and said, "You should really learn how to tell jokes before you tell them."
The brown-haired boy flashed him a look of rage and said, "What was that, Rikeo?! You should watch your mouth before you piss off the wrong guy!"
A blond-haired girl rose from her seat."Hey, Tarid!" She yelled. "You watch your mouth before I go over there and punch a tooth out of it!Don't be rude to Rikeo!"
"That's enough, all of you." Iruka said, with authority."Now, we'll begin our exam."

Okay, so I got positive feedback on my last fanfic, The Tale of Inichi Matsuka: Prologue, so I've decided to continue writing this series since I already have pretty much the whole story (and it is a long one) down in my head.
Now if you've read the Prologue already, keep in mind that the Prologue was very far into the story, I'd say somewhere near the end.(I know that it might have been sort of misleading, and my apologies to anyone who was misled.Idk why I did it like that xd )

I'm making an effort to have Inichi's character to be somewhat like Naruto's, a fun-loving, mischievous kid.In my fanfic, you'll see only a few story similarities between Naruto's story and Inichi's.
