Well mouths are usually hollow or have space to fit things in... kind of their purpose! xd

I see what you're getting at but the same could be said for the fact that Madara may just be making it all fit together. I don't think having Kurama in the cloak is making his susanoo stronger... it's just as tho he's using susanoo and Kurama, except now he's just converging the arsenal they posses, at one point.

Well he can't just fit it around any tailed beast. The Kyuubi is the only one that's controlled by the Mangekyou, it is helpless against it. He needs to have the Tailed Beast under full control before he even attempts something like this. It is written in the Uchiha Tablet, that the Mangekyou Sharingan gives an Uchiha absolute power over the Ninetails. Not any other beast, just Kyuubi.
And I believe it was because of this reason. Why would Madara even want to shape his Susanoo to fit something else when the Kyuubi is the only one he can control?
