The Susanoo has always been a SHELL for the Kyuubi!

Not saying that it isn't meant to be on it's own. But the Kyuubi form is a legitimate form of the Susanoo as well!

Ask yourselves, why is the Kyuubi a puppet for those with the Mangekyou Sharingan?

The true power of any Uchiha can only be realized once the fusion of his Susanoo and the Kyuubi is accomplished!

That is the strongest ability of the Uchiha clan. Controlling the Kyuubi is just a pre-requisite to this power.

And no, it's not because Madara is good at controlling it. Perfect Susanoo's shell is an Uchiha's chakra stabilized and in a completely solid form. It's all about chakra control.

Just look at the vast differences between the two forms:

I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure it's not just a shell for "something."
It's a shell for anything.

When Susanoo was introduced it was as a shield for it's user. I'm pretty sure you could potentially protect anything you wanted with Susanoo, but this is just the first time we've seen it used in a way other than to protect the one using it.

Because armor is hollow until it's worn by either the caster or w/e the caster decides to protect... I'm not saying it's not something to be used in conjunction with Kurama but consider the fact that it is chakra and it's chakra being manipulated.

Also I don't think Susanoo is hollow as you state. I distinctly remember Sasuke's and Itachi's developing tendons and muscle like tissue over the skeletal frames. Essentially... Kurama is in a chakra cloak.

Cuz I can see the blackness in it's mouth which is the perfect place and shape for the Kyuubi's teeth if you look at the last image.

The Kyuubi's Sharingan through it's eye is also a sure sign of this.

I don't think having Kurama in the cloak is making his susanoo stronger... it's just as tho he's using susanoo and Kurama, except now he's just converging the arsenal they posses, at one point.
