I am just amazed with the character developement of this character, Obito.. It seems the closer you get to him, the tougher it is to see him!

Now i normally dont read anything this long and actually pay attention to every detail, so when i do you know you did a great job. Everything was worht it and detailed as always you brought down the house with another ground breaking theory.

Wow...Im blown away by the depth of this theory :yay:.

You make it sound as though obito is the "prophet" who's passing divine judgement upon the human race in the juubi's stead.

While obito's true ideals are still a bit fuzzy at this point, you do cover a few plotholes with this theory, impressive work .

Very nice thread! Really liked the Hindu comparisons!

I would say that Obito is clearly trying to play an all wise/knowing person, but if Tsukuyomi is his origional or back up may still depend on his mind frame.

Most clues would lead to it being that Obito did want humanity to find peace; however, they also may just point to his increasing loss with reality. His actions of destroying Konoha may have been because it reminded him of Rin's death. Since he can't accept this world as a reality....destroying it is justified as it isn't the real Konoha. Also his subsequent actions may be him acting arrogant or simply figuring he'd have plenty of time to capture Naruto.

I think he may have wanted the world to desire peace at first; however, st this point he seems to have decided thst it may be too risky and is going for Tsukoyomi to be safe!

Nice work!

Nice extensive research , very good insight of japanese religion/mitology

I really enjoyed reading all of it, but it still very long to read =D

You should use spoilers tag like that , but still it was pretty good read and worthy of my time

well done my friend ;)

EDIT: I may create long and rich in content reply to you later, because Iam sleepy now ...:(

It was really long so you lost me on some parts, mainly the mythology part...

Anyway, I was kinda thinking about this after Obito's reaction to Madara ( that he never intended to be his friend ). I do think Obito never intended to involve Madara in this, which is why he couldn't care less about Nagato's safety. But I do think it's interesting, how Obito already recognized Naruto by sending Pain to attack the Leaf village. And I've always wondered why Obito kept on killing so many people if he really wanted to trap everyone in an infinite tsukuyomi. So I do agree with you, and I didn't really get the mythology part, but it looked like it made sense...

wow, man that is some good insight.
also it might explain why Obito is constantly trying to verify naruto's beliefs.

Great theory,bro.....[finally read it ].....

I think Kishi is just setting some major twist.Remember when he said that ,"You two are the next chosen by fate, and if you two didn't clash,I will throw Sasuke to you".Now since,Sasuke has turn good, and want to be a Hokage, for which he need recognision and trust,I think Kishi might let Naruto fall to despair and then we see a huge Naruto vs Sasuke......

After the battle, during the same time Tsukoyomi gets completed, they together smash the scene, and Obito.....

Though not holding any hopes as ,"Hope is equivalent to give up,and biggest deception of all."LOL.......this quote looks like Kishi is saying to us........

Nevertheless,great work bro.
+ r e p [If I can,it says u have to spent it to some other before giving it to u again, but it's been a while since I have given u]....don't know what's going on.
