Basically what I'm about to say is based on my three earlier threads,
1.Era before the SO6P - wrapped in eternal genjutsu?????
(
2. Did the SO6P DIE WITH REGRET????
(
3. Reincarnation or REINCARNATIONS of the SO6P????
(
I have noticed that my previous thread, The truth behind the UCHIHA MASSACRE (
actually raised some interesting questions rather than answering it..
Well, rather truth be told,I did it on purpose.
I hope the answers to the questions along with many others which are left unanswered by Kishi himself can be interpreted from this theory.
Now, let's begin.
First of all lets start with Uchiha Madara. Apparently it can be said that he and Obito share the same goal, the PROJECT TSUKI NO ME. What did Madara want? An illusionary peace? But if he only wanted peace, he would only pass down his will. But it seems he had something other in mind. Otherwise, why an old man who has seen the evils of this world, want to be revived? Now here comes a very important point... If they share the same dream, why did Obito had some serious differences with Madara?
After living a long life, Madara wanted to bring peace to the world in the form of an illusion. I think, Obito don't want to drag the world into some illusionary peace from the get go. It's as if he is judging whether the world is ready for a peace based on mutual understanding or the illusionary peace is the only answer! Judging from his actions the Project Tsuki No Me was never his true intention, just a backup plan in case the eyes of the humans' eyes remain ever closed. Here in the subsequent points I will make myself clear..
Let's start with the incident that formed the basis of the NARUTO series, viz. THE KYUUBI INCIDENT .
We all know that Obito was behind that incident and planned to take the Kyuubi in his arsenal but was stopped by Minato.
Now on closer observation, two ambiguities arise:-
1. If he wanted to attack the Leaf so badly and wholeheartedly, then why he didn't he just take the Kyuubi out of newborn Naruto and set it loose on the village??
2. And if he wanted Kyuubi that badly then why did he go through the trouble of attacking Konoha in the first place??
Our first task is to face these questions. Let us take a look at the scan below...
Here we can see, Obito is confessing to Minato just prior attacking the Leaf. Now when does a person confess?
When he feels guilt or HE IS FORCED TO TAKE A HARSH DECISION which he perceives as NECESSARY EVIL. Now in Obito's case both the scenarios are correct.
So lets return to the main questions. Apparently he was trying to destroy the village and trying to frame the Uchihas.. But actually what he did was that he threw the village into a chaos, destroying was never his true intention. Now let's move into another incident which is very closely related to this incident, viz. the UCHIHA MASSACRE
Can we think of any animosity that Obito shared with the Uchihas? NO But still then, why did he take a part in the Uchiha massacre?? And how it would benefit his apparent plans? Some could say that it was so that no Uchiha ever posed a threat to the Project Tsukinome.. But that point is meaningless because from what we have seen of the manga, no Uchiha were even certified to oppose him, save Itachi and Sasuke..He has also dealt with them..And its sad to say, but its the truth, they both played the roles of his pawn!!
So what was his real motive behind the aforesaid two incidents? He began from his own village..He attacked the village and destroyed most of it, but not completely!! He could have taken that chance after the death of Minato, but in hindsight, it appears that he was judging WORLD STABILITY right after the Great Ninja War.
It was the time right after the 3rd Great Ninja War. The world saw peace in exchange of many blood-sheds,many sacrifices. Was the world worthy of such peace? Is that what defines true peace? At that time the Leaf was the strongest of all hidden villages. He wanted to see the impact of the chaos there in the other villages. He wanted to see are human-beings capable of understanding each other. He wanted to judge people in the midst of that chaos.
Now the Uchiha Massacre, why was it necessary? It is an obvious fact that Obito had a role behind it.
Obito also knew this very well. You can hate Tobirama for his perception of the Uchihas, but it was the reality. That's why Obito always referred the fate of the Uchiha as the CURSE OF HATRED. The Uchihas were generally narrow-minded and the interests of the clan were most important to them. The only exception were Obito himself and Uchiha Itachi.
That's why he presented himself before Itachi before the Massacre. And at this point he made sure that Danzou took the harsh decision of eliminating the Uchiha because even if their Coup d'etat were thwarted, Konoha's military strength would decline tremendously (even the existence of Konoha itself could be at stake). The other countries would surely take this opportunity to attack the village and as a result a great war would begin again. Surely he didn't want that. So he personally made sure that coup d'etat never happened and saved the world from another war. And he became Itachi's mentor and recruited him as a member of Akatsuki. Because Itachi also possessed the WILL OF FIRE.
.
So on one hand he was the destroyer and on the other hand he was giving mankind a chance.
He did the same with the Hidden Mist too...
Now let's think about this, why did he send Itachi to Konoha in the first place, when he perfectly knew the truth about him?
He knew that Itachi would never seriously attack Konoha or even attack Naruto.
He on the other hand started collecting the Bijuus from the other hidden villages. What made Naruto so special to him?
Besides being the spitting image of himself, Obito saw in Naruto the conviction and the will to lead the world to peace through mutual understanding. He perhaps truly believed that Naruto was the true saviour of the world. So he needed to judge Naruto in order to make things better for the world. That's why he sent Nagato to capture Naruto.
How could he take this into consideration , death of someone who has mastered the Rinnegan? If the safety of Nagato really mattered to Obito, then he would have been at his side (just like the case of Sasuke). What do these imply? One of the biggest tests of Naruto? I believe it was a test to determine how strong Naruto's conviction was. Only then he acknowledged Naruto as the saviour and decided to test him personally. That's why shortly afterwards Obito met Naruto and told him the truth about Itachi Uchiha and Sasuke's path of hatred. Now why did he bother to do that when Naruto got two elite shinobies, Kakashi and Yamato by his side. It's interesting to notice, why did he even bother to explain the fate of Uchiha and Senju to Naruto and how they were related to the SO6P. And most importantly he wanted Naruto to understand Sasuke and see his reaction, whether he would waver from his conviction or not.
Now here comes one of the most important points, THE FIVE KAGE SUMMIT. If he was hell-bent on destroying the world, why did he appear before them and told them the nitty-gritties of his plan??
Its as if he wanted the ninja world to unite for one time, if possible..It seems he deliberately planned this! Its noteworthy to see that at this point of time, he decided to destroy Danzou! If he wanted, he could have earlier terminated him. The only possible explanation is that Obito knew the threat Danzou posed before an unified Shinobi world, where unity itself would be at stake..The Shinobi Alliance would not have been formed, to say the least..
Last but not the least, lets turn our attention to the present BATTLEFIELD. From what has been seen, his blabbering with Naruto has only been focused till now! And Kishi doesn't do anything without any reason. If he wanted to be the jinchuriki of the Juubi, then he could have accomplished it from the moment when Juubi was formed( albeit incomplete). Now again, why he is so fixated on Naruto? He at first aimed to teach the alliance true despair and see if they were able to hold their composure and convictions..Naruto also went through this same test when Neji and many others were killed!!
These points again reaffirm that Project Tsukinome was never the preffered plan of Obito, but was always a possibility.
Now let us take a look at the Hindu Mythology, to be precise, we will focus here on the HINDU TRINITY, viz. the Brahma, the Vishnu and the Shiva.
First we will start with the CREATOR,the BRAHMA. Traditionally accepted as the creator of the entire universe.
One of the earliest iconographic descriptions of the Brahma is that of the four-faced god seated on a lotus.. The lotus represents here the Reality. The Brahma seating on the Lotus indicates that he is ever-rooted in the INFINITE REALITY. Reality is the foundation on which his personality rests.
Here Kishimoto has shown Juubi to be sitting on a lotus and he is also the PROGENITOR of all that exists in this world. Surely I don't need to say anymore.
Now comes the PROTECTOR the VISHNU. He is popularly regarded as the preserver of the entire universe.
The idea of PROTECTOR is based on two beliefs, humans may attain salvation by faithfully following any predetermined paths of DUTY, and good and evil powers contend for dominion over the world. Occasionally, the balance of power is upset in favor of evil, and then Lord Vishnu is believed to descend to earth in a mortal form (his AVATAR) to save the humankind of the world.
Here we can see an analogy between Lord Vishnu and the SO6P. Like Lord Vishnu he protected the world. Even now when the world is in real grave danger, we can see his reincarnation in the form of Naruto trying to protect the world.
Now comes the DESTROYER the SHIVA.
He is said to be the god of destruction. The other two gods, the god of creation, the Brahma and the god of maintanence, the Vishnu , along with Shiva, make the whole creation complete..The three gods represent the three powers which are manifest in the world, viz. creation, maintenence and destruction. All three powers are manifest at all times. They are inseperable. Creation and destruction are like two opposite sides of the same coin. And maintenance is the integral part of the process of creation and destruction.
Lord Shiva sits in a meditative pose against the white background of snow-capped Himalayas in Mt. Kailas. The snow-white background symbolises absolute purity of mind. Shiva is said to have a third eye known as Gyaan Chakshu, literally meaning EYE OF WISDOM. An eye whose vision reaches beyond that of the two mortal eyes. The idea of a third eye is not to be taken literally to mean that a third fleshy organ exists in Shiva. It only means that Shiva has a divine vision of the Reality. Man's vision is confined merely to perceptions, emotions and thoughts. But when you transcend the realization of body, mind and intellect, only then you gain the realization of your inner self. That can be depicted as the awakening of the Third Eye or the GYAAN CHAKSHU.
Now it's interesting to see, that the new mask of Obito was purely white, symbolising purity. And more stunningly, see the mask of Obito and the top-most tomae of the mask! It bears an eerie resemblance with the GYAAN CHAKSHU.
The most integral question is whom will you call a destroyer? Just someone who mindlessly destroys everything?? Or someone who constantly reaffirms the worth of mankind in an unbiased, sane manner with purity in his heart. He looks into the extent of evilness in humans and the possibility of their redemption. And when humankind is beyond all hope, then he is left with no other choice but to destroy it to start everything anew! This is what is called THE DIVINE JUDGEMENT.
As seen in most of my theory, there is enough analogy between Obito and Lord Shiva.. His is the story of a man who has transcended from the limitations of a man into GOD. He has seen the narrow-mindedness of humans. He had seen the wars, raged by the nations to secure the interests of its own people. The peace that was established after each wars was nothing but a lie. This is a world, where true peace, true love, is impossible. This realization has transcended his view of ordinary human's to a God's which is no longer binded by emotions, thoughts. Now his judgement has become Divine.
That's why he is finally once again reaffirming the true worth of humans in the battle-field to decide even now,is peace really possible by mutual understanding or is it itself an illusion...Here he has already speculated about who can be the protector of this world, and he has found that in Naruto.. Till now what has been seen in the manga, Obito is in the final stage of testing Naruto, and reaffirming whether to destroy this world or not or can the world attain peace through mutual understanding whose torchbearer is Naruto himself!
He has played the role of a God not in terms of only power, but in the true sense of the term..
PS: I apologize, I couldn't make it any shorter.

i truly enjoyed reading your theory,i hope it turns out to be true because i totally see obito still clinging to his former self`s beliefs and heart.
