*sigh* I have to agree with certain points made in another recent thread.. Bleach sort of went a bit overboard with the plot.. a lot of character build up and not a lot of satisfying continuancies of those build ups.. a lot of loose ends in many respects. One of Kubo Tite's strengths has always been good, thoughtful characters, but the way he brushes them off lately has been a bit disappointing. And of course the whole thing that is happening with Ichigo at the moment to me is just too banale..
But I'm going off topic here.. sorry. Spirit King. I want to know what he/it is too. I believe it was mentioned in an interview that his Army would be revealed at some point..
Perhaps the whole idea of the Spirit King is that it is a sort of cosmosic thing that holds us all together, as in a force, rather than an actual being? It might be a metaphore of All Life? If so, it might be that we are all (presumably, in Bleach Universe) part of the Spirit King.. the idea is very Shinto-like, in which case. I find it very strange that the "King" has not lifted a finger to get involved in the Winter War so far.
