Im not saying Obito has nothing to do with this, honestly I think he is striving for the moons eye plan to work. What im saying is Tobi does not equal Obito. There is more than one consiousness there, I wasnt sure till last chapter.

That makes sense. I think that obito was the one that was saying "Tobi is a good boy", and that the spiral zetsu is the one with the deep voice.

Hah really? I was thinking the opposite, the spiral dude seems to be pretty goofy too, but yeah there is definitely two people there.

On another note, and sorry for double posting but Ive always wondered this. Tobi seems to be seeking out people to "sync" with the Gedo and ive always been curious as to why he doesnt do it himself. Well, isnt it possible that some one/thing made from the Gedo cant sync with it like a normal person?
