He really wasn't a step slower. He was clearly faster than Weidman but if you constantly taunt with your hands down, eventually you're going to get caught. If he took his opponent more seriously (or even if he actually did want to win)....Weidman would have had to work way harder for a KO.

I found this match awkward .. Silva usually counter attacks but in this match even though he dominated second round he got KO's he didn't do shit like on purpose.... well I think this match was a fix... there was massive outrage of critics and journalists. Post match press conference is rather... see for yourself.

Match fixing is always present in sports at any stage even in football.. recently there's way too much dodgy stuff in UFC

and everyone before commenting look at full match... Silva > .. this guy lucky?! He was asked a question:

anyone who folos silva would know that he was out of character completly.

i think silva was paid off to lose, in order to get more publicity for MW. cuz silva was whooping everyones ass.

Also think he was paid off to lose, in order to not fight gsp and end his sad career.

There is no way someone who defeated henderson,belfort,franklin,irvin,bonner,chael, all in tko/ko fashion

could lose to someone who just came into MMA

you should watch this movie, I was lucky enough to get infront of TV in time and own FUEL TV on foxtel. I was blown away by this Doc :O

Even the best fighters lose. No matter how good you are, you should never underestimate your opponent. That was Silva's downfall and he paid the price.
