I thought it was common knowledge that the six paths were
the god (Sanskrit, Pali: deva) path
the jealous god (S., P.: asura) path
the human (S. manuṣya, P. manussa) path
the animal (S. tiryagyoni, P. tiracchānayoni) path
the hungry ghost (S. preta, P. petta) path
the hell (S: naraka, P. niraya) path
These were taught by the Rikudo Sennin (Sot6P) in the Ninshu wich became Ninjutsu. These paths also were the 6 Paths of Pain of Nagato. These also came from the Buddhist religion. However, Tobi stated that Madara was a path, Hashirama was a path and Nagato was a path. What really is the Six Paths?
