The Second Chunin Exams
On their way to the Kannabi bridge, they discuss their plans for finding the bandits and what they will do about them. They are currently resting at an inn at Land of Fire's borders. Tenten and Hinata share a room, Lee and Kiba, and Shino and Neji. They are currently in the lobby of the inn.
Kiba: So did anybody find anything out about the bandits? Akamaru and I had no luck.
Neji: I found out that they seem to be targeting Land of Fire settlements and they almost always leave a trail of burnt buildings.
*Two men with cloaked heads enter in the inn and request a room in the second story. They hold two sheathed blades on each of their left sides. They are dressed in black sleeveless shirts with black slacks. One of the men are very tall and the other is about medium height, reaching up to his shoulder. The men seem to be very tense and when looking over at the Konoha Rookies, he makes eye contact with Kiba. Akamaru barks once at them.*
Tenten: I heard some people say that it wasn't bandits but ninja instead. What do you think Neji?
Neji: Well it is a possibility but what ninja would attack defenseless settlements?
*A man gets up and leaves the inn. The man has black spiky hair with an angular facial structure and wears a cloak over his body. He seemed to have been waiting for someone. He exits the building and goes towards the North of town.*
Lee: I will not allow any ninja to harm innocent people like that! They will face Konoha's Green Devil before they attempt to harm anymore civilians like that again!
*Lee says as he gets up on the table. Everyone surprised except for Tenten...*
Tenten: Lee! Would you get off the table!
*Tenten pulls Lee off the table. One large man enters the inn with two bodyguards, both dressed in animal furs and carrying large bags. They glance at the Konoha Rookies and enter up the stairs. Another smaller boy, about 13 years-old enters the inn. He has brown, medium-lengthed hair, a dark skin tone reminiscent to that of Darui, and is dressed in a dark blue undershirt with a coat. He is carrying three auspiciously wrapped up items. They are long and wrapped oddly. They are wrapped in a red cloth except for one, this one was in blue. As he enters, he trips on his way over to the stairs. Lee hurries over quickly with Tenten, Kiba, and Hinata.*
Lee: Are you okay? You fell pretty hard.
Hinata: Here, I have some special medical ointment for you to use...
*Lee attempts to help while Hinata pulls out medicine from her pouch but the boy recovers on his own and looks up at Lee. He looks away and stands up. The boy's coat rolls up his arm and Hinata notices multiple scars on his arm. *
Boy: I'll be fine... Gotta hurry!
*He picks up the dropped items and hurries up the stairs.*
Lee: How odd...
*Hinata, Kiba, Tenten, and Lee seem confused as to why he was in such a rush.*
Neji: (Whispering to Shino) Did you see it?
*Shino remains quiet.*
After a night at the inn, the group continues onward to the Kannabi bridge. The rookies notice that they are being followed. The pursuers however stay just out of the range of the Byakugan, 850 meters away. Who are pursuing the Konoha Shinobi? Find out next time...

Sorry they'll get longer ^.^ There may also seem to be a lack of dialogue and that's because I decided to focus on describing characters this time around.
I really wanted to build mystery with this chapter so hope you don't mind ^.^
