All are at their strongest fighting where naruto fought the third raikage, the sannin have their summonings out from the sannin fight in part 1, j man starts in sage mode, orochimaru hydra mode and tsunade goes into her herecules stregth, and the third raikage is extremely blood lusted at max power and lightning armor. who wins and why?

I don’t know when there where young they couldn’t beat hanzo the salamander, and when edo tensei, he was kind of lame so i don’t think the sannin would do anything to that beast..Lets face it he went up against a bijuu and not just any bijuu the second most powerful one and live to see another day.. So no!!

The 3rd who easily tanked an 8 tails TBB overpowers them. The sanin haven't showed anything on the scale of a TBB which was easily tanked by the raikage. The 3rd takes this.

1. The sannin weren't in their prime
2. The sannin didn't unleash their boss summons
3. jiraiya wasn't in sage mode neither was orochimaru in hydra mode
4. true they would lose, but fighting Manda, an 8 headed serpent, Gamabunta, The Giant Slug, Gamahiro, Gamaken, and Sage mode jiraiya along with Tsunade will be far from easy

The TBB didn't do that. It was because his lightning sword was stronger than his shield. When both the eight tails and the 3rd collapsed with their jutsus in hand, he landed on his own arm, causing that lightning shaped scar on his arm.

The sannin take this man come on Orichimaru fought naruto in kyuubi form and survive man he is very underrated by the fans on Naruto base. He has powerful forbidden techniques and has tons of knowledge in ninjutsu skills. Combine with help from tsuande and jirayia man that is total annihilation for the 3rd raikage. the sannins fought hanzo in there late teens early twenties I mean come on jirayia could not use sage mode back then so the hanzo match should not even be mentioned since they did not obtained there powerful moves at that young age. Now since they are in there fifties and a at kage level I dont see why the sannins can take down the all powerful 3rd raikage. The all powerful 3 wins this but with alot of difficulty

Sannin are strong alone but together they are almost harder to take down each one makes for the other weakness oro itself can fight a 4 tail naruto with no problem survive a ttb, he can use edo tensei and MANY MORE JUTSU EVEN MORE THAN KAKASHI!!!!, they can summon alot of frog,slug and snakes to hard they can multiple more than 10,000 ninjas

Sorry to say it but could any of them pierce his armor he took a rasenshuriken which is the element strong against lightning and lived i honestly dont see them breaking his armor unless they figured out his weakness same as naruto had to i mean third was crazy OP with his endurance huge speed and power and that finger jutsu i dont think they would beat him i mean tsunade dead first followed by J man and finished by oro as he would be the most annoying to kill with his scaly self

Tsunade is from the senju clan dont think she will give a good fight seal would keep her from dieing and J man with sage mode can manage to hold back again is it and he can use that genjutsu to stop him and orochimaru himself will be to hard to kill almost imposible to take down
