pain defeated hanzo
jiraya alone almost defeated pain give him oro and tsunade at that moment they would have slaugtered them....
'so that leaves hanzo out of the question...

Thats kind of what Im saying. The sannin in that fight werent nearly as strong compared to now.
Hanzo couldnt even take out one Pain while Jiraiya took out 4.

Tsunade useless just like her student Sakura.

Orochimaru is the bad ass of snakes or did you forget that? He didn't learn his snake tech's after he defected from Konoha we know this because he taught Anko some snake tech's.

Jiraiya was fodder compared to the current Jiraiya.
Orochimaru couldnt use none of his skin shedding or any other crazy experiments.

State information from the top of my head? I got all of this from the manga. All I said was that the sannin that fought Hanzo were weak COMPARED to the current ones. Its similar to Hiruzen vs Hashirama and Tobirama and you say thats false information?

And the fact I said the sannin were 19 year old chunnins came from analyizing the timeline and several character's ages.

Its not like I made a dumb Sakura/So6p thread.

Alot of people lately have been saying Prime Hanzo solod the sannin so hes up there in the top 20 but they're wrong.
What Hanzo fought was like a shell of what the sannins are now. One guy beating three 19 year old chuunins is not very impressive to me.

-Tsunade was a useless healer so it was essencially 2v1
-Jiraiya was no toad sage had did nothing but hair technigues
-Orochimaru did nothing but basic techs

Each Sannin would solo Prime Hanzo.

I'm pretty sure they were Jounin's, which is still impressive. And plus Jiraiya had sage mode at the time so yea

We don't know for sure if he had Sage Mode. Yes, he may have been studying it, however, it isn't known if he had mastered it at that time.
Not to mention Tsunade knew about it, but never saw him using it as Jiraiya said he never wanted her to see like that, or something along the line.

For Tsunade, at least, I guess she was at Sakura's level now. Since she couldn't save Dan, and didn't had Yin Seal. If he would've had, Orochimaru had knew about it. Because when she released Sozo Saisei, he said something "Coming with something new, I see" or, anyway, something along the line.
As for Oro and Jiraiya, can't tell for sure...

We don't know exactly how strong the sannin were at the time. It very well could have been before they had reached their prime. At the time hanzo was feared as one of the most deadly shinobi on the planet. Nobody could beat him, it took a rinnegan user to take him down, and Nagato summoned the juubi shell to do it, rendering himself immobile...

Their fight was never really concluded. Hanzo was going to win though as he let them go and they accepted his offer, most likely because they knew they couldn't win.

Oro definitely wasn't in his prime there. It was probably before he had developed a lot of his forbidden jutsu. IDK about tsunade and Jiraiya though. Personally I don't think any of the sannin were in their prime, and if it had been prime sannin vs. Hanzo i think they could win.
