This is the second part of Chapter Three- Best of Both Worlds. This will continue right where the last one left off. If you have already read part one please enjoy. Torune and I ran towards each other. While I ran, I threw my sword up in the air and gave it a lead. I then formed the hand signs to make two water clones (One on each side of me). After the clones were made I caught my sword while we were still running.
Torune saw me make the water clones and stopped running towards me. He made some hand sighs. A dark cloud surrounded him.
Once I saw the dark cloud surround him, I stopped and had my two clones continue running. The one on the left of me ran to his right; the one to the right of me ran to his left (basically to cross each other). They continued to do that until they reached the cloud. As soon as they reach it the jutsu was broken and they vanished. The cloud then started to move towards me. As it got closer I could here a humming sounds. I then realized that the cloud was actually bugs. I jumped back to get some distance between me and the cloud of bugs.
I looked around the cloud to get a location of my foe. He was gone. The bugs started to come towards me at a faster pace. I jumped back twice to get more room. I needed the time to find my enemy.
Zutsu Black: Behind you.
I turned around from the left. Before I could make the full cycle, I saw Torune with a purple kunai knife. I ducked in time by lowering my head. I grabbed a kunai knife and used it to block his next attack. Our kunai knives hit each other. As soon as they hit, I saw that my kunai knife was turning purple from the point in which my knife met his. He swings again. I drop my knife and leaned backwards. I place my hands behind me on the floor and kick him in the lower part of his chest where he was still wearing clothes. He flew back and I also went back using the force of the kick. We stop at mid-range.
Zutsu White: What!? How did he get behind him?
Zutsu Black: I guess you missed it. When Daiki heard the sound of bugs. That wasn't the cloud. That was Torune moving behind him.
Zutsu White: In bug form. I get it now. Good thing Daiki is fast. He almost got hit with that. That was a good plan.
Zutsu Black: It's not over yet.
As I stopped at mid range, I heard a buzzing sound behind me. I tried to move. I couldn't. The cloud of bugs moved in around me and I felt my chakra slipping away from me. I fell to a knee.
Zutsu White: Ah, I see. That was his plan all along.
Zutsu Black: I figured much. He attacked from behind to stop him from moving back and pushed him back into the swarm of bugs. It seems like they are draining his chakra.
Zutsu White: This fight is over already.
Zutsu Black: Not yet.
I fell to my knees. I felt my chakra leaving me. I closed my eyes. I was in a bright light infinite. I stood there. Hopeless. Then I felt someone resting there back against mine.
Daiki: Kara, are you there?
Kara: Yes Daiki, I am here.
Daiki: I'm sorry for not protecting you.
Kara: It's not your fault what happened. I don't blame you.
Daiki: Kara, I'm lost. I don't know what to do anymore. Tell me.
Kara: Oh, Daiki. I can't. You have to do it on your own.
Daiki: Alone.
Kara: You are never alone. I will always be with you.
Daiki: Take me with you.
Kara: ...I can't. It's not your time yet. There is only one thing I want you to do right now.
Daiki: What is it?
Kara: Live.
Zutsu White: What!? What is that blue light coming from Daiki?
Zutsu Black: I don't know, but his chakra is increasing at a fast rate.
Torune: Impossible!
Zutsu White: The bugs are dying! I don't believe it.
Zutsu Black: I see. The bugs drain chakra at a slow rate. The more you try to save your Chakra the weaker you get because you can't stop them from draining it away.
Zutsu White: Oh, I see now. So, he is doing the opposite. He is giving them more then they could take in at a time. Something like an overload.
Zutsu Black: Correct.
Torune: Damn you!
Zutsu White: He killed them all! Now what's going to happen?
Zutsu Black: The real fight begins.
