Well, of course like everyone knows:
It's a kekei genkai from the uchiha clan
You have different stages:
1 tomoe, 2 tomoes, 3 tomoes, magenkyō sharingan and eternal magenkyō sharingan
The sharingan is able to see someones chakra circulation, making him able to track that very person, or check if he's in a genjutsu.
The sharingan itself is also able to lay genjutsu on his oponents
It can remember everything it sees, and copy it in an instant.
This makes it very easy to learn new techniques by actovating the sharingan
The sharingan can be transplantated, but then it can't be turned of (kakashi & danzō)
Well, what can i say more...
The 2 strongest techniques of sharingan are susano'o and amatesaru
That's about it i guess

well thats good enough for me. =)
correct. now when i had my sharingan activated, there were 2 ways to activate it: pure hatred (in other words ur gonna have to hate me well a lot like u wanna kill me or w/e O_O) or a near-death experience.
nowadays its only near death experience will do it. nonetheless this will hurt a lot. and i must ask one other thing, when im helping u activate ur sharingan, do not retaliate, no matter what. are u ready?

Now then, since ur completely surrounded and being hit by my clones, I use
(Raiton:Ikadzuchi no Utage)-Lightning style:Lightning Bolt Feast

Description: The user is able to shape the Lightning Element to form an extending blade
of lightning. Though unstated, this blade probably takes on Chidori's characteristics,

strike its target with ease. This attack may also be similar to Chidori Nagashi, causing the
target to go numb from the electrical charge.
And when the spear is fully formed, my clones form an opening on you and i throw the spear at u. shocking you completely/to the maximum that i think a normal ninja can take to aid in activating their sharingan.
now u must use this pain you are feeling to activate the sharingan in your eyes, use the pain to make your chakra flow faster than it usually does to that eye to make the sharingan appear. hopefully, this will be the only thing it takes...ive had harder ones, who have had to take a world more of hurt.
