Otherwise known as "Team Kakashi" A team that didn't really specialize in anything due to circumstance. Originally known to be grouped by the worst, average, and best student. It's Later revealed that to grouped in order to keep tabs on the remaining Uchiha and the Nine-tails.

Despite that, the're Easily the most talented team out of the rookie 9. And due to Naruto and Sasuke. The strongest. A extremely well rounded team ranging from superior sensing to intelligence gathering and healing.

A older team than the others. Team guy specifies in close quarters combat. Bolsters some of the strongest Taijustu in the Rookie 9.

With all of that being said they were pretty damn good considering it was their first war.

I'm sure the previous Kages were strong when they were their age. But you're missing the point. This war was a lot worse than all the others and yet they not only survived (except neji, R.I.P homie) they actually played a role in how everything went down. I mean, you must have not seen what Ino was doing. she's the sole reason the NA saw Hashirama and Naruto's memories. and why they were empowered once again to keep going.

Not to mention after he dad was blown the kingdom come, she was relaying messages

They gave him 12 pages of looking badass so as to the kages, before being smurfed by Madara. I actually thought somehow Gaara would call back his juubi and do "something", that something ended up being Oro collecting kage pounders out of the field
