Personality: Shisui embodies what many idolize in the traits of heroes found in myth and fantasy, or in otherwords the epitome of self sacrifice and benevolence; He is the kind of man who would give up his umbrella to a needy stranger in the rain, or give up his seat on the train to an elderly woman -- all with a smile. No matter what ails him, Shisui learned long ago how to take everything with a grain of salt and rarely lets his personal problems affect his relationships with other people. And Shisui never judges others for their personal choices, all that matters to him is what they do while he knows them. More often than not, Shisui also has the tendency to get along with even the strangest of individuals. This stems from his habit of picking up traits from whoever he associates with, and applying them only while in the presence of that individual. Because of this, it's safe to assume nobody really knows who Shisui is... even those closest to him, and his heart.

What we know of Uchiha Shisui is limited; A genius even among the Uchiha, he was both revered and feared for his god-like speed, earning him the title of Shunshin no Shisui. He had a close relationship with Uchiha Itachi, who Shisui often thought of as a brother and vise-versa. We can assume the following: 1) Shisui was older, since Itachi thought of him as an older brother; 2) He already mastered the Sharingan, given the fact he was praised by the Uchiha for his strength; 3) He was likely a member of ANBU, like Itachi, given the status it entailed as seen in Itachi's past.
