I think that there are several reasons as to why we haven't seen Madara and Obito use the paths. One of the reasons is that Masashi Kishimoto hadn't planned for these dudes to have any Rinnegan. But he couldn't have Naruto so powerful and have these antagonists operate on only the Sharingan. Another reason I think is that if Madara and Obito could just use paths arbitrarily the series would have been over. Because unless Naruto came up with a jutsu to kill gods then these two Uchihas would have won hands down.

I think it's a result of poor planning.

This makes no sense considering the Senju clan descended from the younger of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths who was born with the "body" of the Sage, inheriting his father's strength of will and physical energy.

Sealing Techniques are typically an Uzumaki trait. From Kushinas Sealing Jutsus, to the fact that Minato learned many of his sealing techniques from the Uzumakis. And not to mention, the fact that Uzumakis tend to make good Jinchurikis.

That, and then the fact that Naruto performed a SO6P Seal on Kurama after extracting his Yin Kyuubi Chakra, and sealing it within himself.

However it has been proven, Uzumakis are more efficient in weilding the Rinnegan, I can imagine their increased Chakra levels would also play a part in that.

Now everyone knows, or I assume everyone knows that Obito said he wasn't using Pain's Godly powers because he wanted to preserve chakra, while he was already manipulating 6 Jinchuuriki through the Gedo Mazou.

It was an analytical assumption made by Kakashi, and Obito merely agreed. But I don't think that was the case, I believe he only did that to make them think that he could so they would be even more wary of him.

I believe Obito cannot use any of the Six Path's abilities, which are, Unique Summonings, Demon Path's weapons, Naraka Path's King of Hell, Preta Path's jutsu absorption and Tendo's Über Godly powers. He can obviously use Taijutsu.

The only powers that I think he possessed were his Gedo Mazou Controlloing abilities and using the Jinchuuriki through it.


The same goes for Madara, with unlimited Chakra he has not demonstrated any of Pain's abilities except for Preta Path, and being synchronised up with the Juubi.



I believe that being an Uzumaki, Nagato unlocked specific powers from the Rinnegan unique only to him, courtesy of his Uzumaki blood.

Which is why I also believe Madara chose him for the Rinnegan in the first place.U_U

No, both Madara and Obito have so many variant powers and mastery over them that it would be ridiculous to just possess the rinnegan and not be able to access all the abilitites, if that was the case there would be no point to using it. While I was reading the manga I kept thinking why won't they (Madara and Obito) just use all the powers of the rinnegan and drop the sharingan? They access and use whatever powers they need at the moment and being able to use the rinnegan does not limit their usage of their sharingan powers, which are extremely formidable and definitely have a place in battle.

Yeah, it seems that way. The wording being "Nagato's rinnengan" suggesting that the rinnengan Nagato currently possess, "activates its unique power" showing that the power is originating from the rinnengan in Nagato's posession, not from nagato himself. Considering his eye's came from Madara originally it's folly to assume they changed somehow just because Nagato currently has it. And, to be fair, that rinnengan then went to Obito, so whatever power it possessed Obito now has, and by extension Madara.

The things I have put forward are not simply ideas, they are confirmed as documented facts (i.e. the fact that all of the SO6Ps weapons are 'Sealing' weapons, the fact that Uzumakis were reknowned for their 'Sealing Techniques, the fact that the SO6P created the SO6P Seal which he used to seal the 10-Tails within himself, the fact that Minato was taught many of his sealing Jutsus by the Uzumakis, the fact that all of the tailed Beasts recognized SO6P inside Naruto, including Kurama, and also the fact that Naruto Uzumaki used the SO6P Seal on the Nine-Tails) according to the source material which happens to be the manga itself.

All kishi has said is that the Uzumaki are distant relatives of the Senju. He hasnt explained in what way. It is possible the SO6P was an Uzumaki. Its possible that Uzumakis with Rinnegan are more efficient than Uchiha because of their immense Chakra reserves, something that would come in handy when learning all Chakra elements (as Nagato did from a young age), as well as learning the Six Paths, the Outerpath, and also Rinnetensei: there is a possiibility a healthy Uzumaki Rinnegan user could perform this and survive as they have extraodinary Chakra reserves, whereas we already know that one use of Rinnetensei by Obito would kill him, which is a noted difference between the stamina of an Uchiha using the 'eyes' and the stamina of an Uzumaki using the 'eyes'.

If anything, Madara AND Obito have hardly used the eyes so far. Yes Madara displayed a powerful move using Rinnegan, but let's remember he is an Edo Tensei with an unlimited supply of Chakra.

That makes no sense. It has already been confirmed in the manga that the Sharingan devolved from the Rinnegan. Rinnegan was the first (SO6P), Sharingan came later. If you read the manga you would realise that it was Madara Uchiha who managed to re-evolve his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan into a Rinnegan shortly before he died (with the help of Senju DNA). It would have taken a considerable amount of Chakra to unlock the mysteries of the Rinnegan at this stage, which brings it back to Uzumakis. and why Nagato was chosen, rather than Obito.

It's retarded to point out that the SO6P was an Uzumaki? How? If anything that is the most plausible lineage to stem from.

Uzumaki best sealers in the entire Manga - SO6P became the first Jinchuriki and sealed the most powerful of all (With an immensely powerful seal). Kurama even states that Naruto used the same seal as the S06P (And it is an Uzumaki seal).

All the bearers of Kurama have been Uzumaki. This is attributed to their strong life force and longevity. The fact that the S06P had the Juubi inside him is already a testament to his life force).


Also, I hate when people say what you said in the last part of your statement. He wasn't the "GOD" of the actual world. He is hailed as the God of the Shinobi world because of his manipulation of Chakra which then became Ninjutsu. So he must of stem from somewhere... And the distant relative relation between the Uzumaki and Senju can be instantly connected by the fact that (Assuming) the S06P was an Uzumaki, his younger son, who's descendants went on to be the Senju clan are automatically linked with the Uzumaki because of his father!

Nagato's eyes are simply borrowed from Madara!! There is therefore no difference in the capabilities of Nagato's rinnegan compared to Madara's rinnegan. The Sharingan naturally evolves into the rinnegan with the addition of Senju DNA. End of story.
