The Rinnegan powers of Uzumaki's are unique.

Pointless theory: Human and possibly preta path come from the left rinnegan, along with linked vision, while everything else comes from right.

Now everyone knows, or I assume everyone knows that Obito said he wasn't using Pain's Godly powers because he wanted to preserve chakra, while he was already manipulating 6 Jinchuuriki through the Gedo Mazou.

It was an analytical assumption made by Kakashi, and Obito merely agreed. But I don't think that was the case, I believe he only did that to make them think that he could so they would be even more wary of him.

I believe Obito cannot use any of the Six Path's abilities, which are, Unique Summonings, Demon Path's weapons, Naraka Path's King of Hell, Preta Path's jutsu absorption and Tendo's Über Godly powers. He can obviously use Taijutsu.

The only powers that I think he possessed were his Gedo Mazou Controlloing abilities and using the Jinchuuriki through it.


The same goes for Madara, with unlimited Chakra he has not demonstrated any of Pain's abilities except for Preta Path, and being synchronised up with the Juubi.



I believe that being an Uzumaki, Nagato unlocked specific powers from the Rinnegan unique only to him, courtesy of his Uzumaki blood.

Which is why I also believe Madara chose him for the Rinnegan in the first place.U_U

True.In his little skirmish with kakashi and naruto after madara came to the scene (which means all the tailed beast were n longer holding him back)He could of used anyone of the paths powers though he did not.

Madara used a Shinra Tensei to negate Naruto's Rasenshuriken when we first saw him use Rinnegan. He has also use the Meteor powers of the Tendo path too. So yeah he has more than preta and GM sync.

Exactly. It's because Uchihas and Senjus don't control the Rin'negan. And Madara did not unlock it, he and Obito just claim that he did but there is no conclusive evidence that supports their claim. This would be thrown out of court because it's what people in the judicial field call hearsay.

Just because we haven't seen madara or obito use as many of the rinnegan techs isn't proof that what nagato could do is uzumaki specific. If it is said In the manga then I will believe it. I think the fact that we have seen madara use even a portion of rinnegan techs is enough for believe that he could use the other techs as well. Same goes for obito in my opinion. It is an unreasonable assumption to say that uzumaki's gain unique rinnegan techs. There is nothing in the manga to support it. I completely disagree with OP.

The Uzumaki does not have any affiliation with the Rinnegan. It is said that the Uzumaki were blessed with a large supply of Chakra, and powerful sealing jutsu. IF they were really affiliated with the Rinnegan, Naruto/Kushina would've had it a long time ago.

So my point is, just because you are Uzumaki, or atleast your last name is 'Uzumaki' doesn't mean you will get the Rinnegan. Unless of course Kishi pulls some major plothole out of the blue, that is.
