No. You don't understand it.

When obito puts his body in the other dimension, Nothing can hit him, touch him, control him or anything. His entire body is in the other dimension meaning nothing works on him. No Genjutsu, no soul sucking techniques, no rinnegan.

Only counter I can see is this: If kamui is considered ninjutsu, it can be absorbed. Otherwise, no stopping it.

Rinnegan has no counters to kamui. How can ningendo soul stealing work if physical contact is needed? How can preta path work if the jutsu is physical and not chakra based like rasengan or jinton? How would shinra tensei work if it can't hit?

Did you forget that every jutsu has a weakness.. On top of that using ninjutsu against a rinnegan user is useless... On top of that obito has to use his kamui on close range to suck nagato or his pein paths... do you know what happens when you get close to nagato or his pein paths. Saying you can absorb Kamui is like saying you can absorb Shinra Tensei/Bansho Tenin. :|

What's affecting you is a force. Kamui is literally making a bridge between two different dimensions, just like how FTG is literally making a bridge between two points in the same dimension.

u assume when obito uses kamui he auto wins only time he auto won using kamui was against danzo goons every other fight he got trashed or did do anything based on what u put u make it sound like nagato isnt smart at all

he has 6 paths each with deadly abilities to utilize he can observe that kamui which he has seen a dozen times cause obito was too dumb to realize he shouldnt be using a tech like that in front of top tier shinobi

that was konan konan is nagto only friend u think she didnt share her review on kamui with nagato ?

konan had 100 billion paper bombs, thats insane and not comparable to anything regarding the rinnegan. rinnegan works for every user, obito had it, madara had it, nagato had it.... we may not have seen obito use it but from how madaras story goes, nagato HAD no real power from the start. he had merely just borrowed madara's eyes, obito had taken one of those eyes back and was using it thus would allow him access to the same stolen power that nagato got to borrow. now back onto the counter subject....


one you cant hit obito with almost any of those techniques, he goes intangible, nagato cant attack his realm so his only option is wait for the perfect counter attack and telling from when he fought naruto. i can tell he wasnt so good at countering. "REMEMBER THIS"

ill break down kamui for anyone who doesnt understand.
1.when he uses kamui its the same jutsu he uses to teleport things but he has mastered it so he can control where he casts the jutsu thus allowing him to pass through objects even in a fight.
2.he can only be hit while kamui is in effect by someone like kakashi who has access to obitos realm, where they can attack his body or parts of it that he kamui'd off the battlefield. thus making a punching bag for kakashi.
3.his jutsu had to be stopped in split second moments, like when minato caught on, he thought his only chance was a counter resengan when he tried to grab him, it worked. as for pain and nagato unless he can count on obito letting him know his secret, he wont win. even if he did know i still dont think he would win. nagato is a locked up prisoner of the gedo statue for using it under his control, obito wasnt restricted like nagato . one mistake and obito will appear next to him and its over for nagato.

plus i always believed that the rinnegan still requires you to actually learn the hand signs or how to access a particular technique. but i still may be wrong but the way rinnegan works hasnt changed its all about swapping in those eyes. i think madara now may show some sick rinnegan techniques we never heard about, just a theory because madara was the original rinnegan unlocker in naruto. other than the ten tails jinchuriki that came before obito. what i mean by that too is that we may have seen the basic unlock abilities from rinnegan by nagato, but we may still get to see master techniques. lol
